The rules clearly state, "British leagues which have squad registrations will now use a 17 foreign player in squad limit instead of the current work permit system. The rest of the leagues will continue with using work permits." I am playing in the Sky Bet League One, which is a British league, and which has squad registrations. So INSTEAD of a work permit system, I should simply have a 17 foreign player in squad limit.
