White text on a white background in Inbox

Every mail I get into my inbox has white text on a white background making it, literally, impossible to read. I tried everything I could think of: restarting both, the game and the computer (steam as well actually), looking in preferences for any changes to the texts colour. The only instance of when I'm able to read the text is for example when I receive a scout's report or any other kind of "interactive" message. Any ideas on how to fix the issue or find some way around it in order to be able to read the messages at least?
