Unlucky loss to Ross County in Scottish Cup but we were underdogs anyway. Hopefully we can keep up the good form! This particular match was supposed to be played in the middle of December but was rescheduled four times because of waterlogged pitch He's still my best DM. scarp Posted November 14, 2020 Author Share Posted November 14, 2020 April 2027 We continued to play fantastic but so did Inverness and we lost to them in second to the last game of the season meaning we dropped to 2nd place and will have to play in play-offs if we want to move up back to Championship. Youth in-take We've got to 5* potential LBs so I am happy with the intake. Thomson has 14 finishing aswell, so he might be good for us in the future too. Easy tactic but we were pretty lucky especially against Cove Rangers as we got absolutely demolished but they just could not score. So we move up once again. scarp Posted November 14, 2020 Author Share Posted November 14, 2020 Season 2026/27 The season started about similar as to the last one, we were playing around the middle of the table and I thought it will be similar season to the last. Then in January something happened and we started to beat everyone and reached first place in March & April. It definitely helped that there was no clear best team as usually. We won five out of last six games but lost once to Inverness and that was enough for them to clinch past us. We moved to play-offs where we beat Montrose & Cove Rangers to secure our promotion. Both matchups were quite similar, we defended on their stadium and drew there and then we beat them at home. We are struggling hard financially but after the promotion the board agreed to upgrade youth recruitment! Also massive progress by our only youth international Ogg - screen will be posted below. Great youth in-take also as we needed LB and Yotov looks great, he also already played for us in play-offs. Fantastic! The key difference is that I have some depth now, before then if one of my players got injured I had to play half a star players. Currently our biggest problem is midfield, literally been three season without any midfielder being rated above 2 stars. I hope it changes soon. Same as the last time when we played in Championship, after New Year's Eve we started playing terrible and losing to everyone. Thankfully we got some wins now and then and it all came to the last match of the season against Arbroath at home where we parked the bus and after a goal-less draw stayed up! Midfield is still the biggest problem and no new youngsters there either. I started to play diamond this season so lets see how long we will play that way. Hopefully we can establish ourselves as middle tier club in Championship and slowly work our way to better finances & facilities. Morrison was not playing that well so I subbed him out for Blair who scored a goal while Morrison netted in two after coming on from the bench. Especially impressive was the game against Queen's Park as we were losing 0-4 but came back in the second half to beat them 5-4. It's important we get the points now as we always start to play terrible after Christmas. Ireland u21! Youth in-take I am happy with this intake all things considered although we really need the CMs to start coming from the intakes! This time without the drama in the end although we had our fair share of struggle especially around the Christmas. Youth in-take went well but we are really in need of some central midfielders. I do not know what we are going to do once Morrison & MacRae are too old/retire. I believe this is the first time ever someone other than them two got 10 or more goals for us. We also upgraded youth recruitment once more. Next step is to establish ourselves us Championship team and eventually become professional. Best goalie in the league! He played fantastic. Third national team player now.
