Hopefully we can fight the relegation, now more importantly every place counts this season as there are huge (for us) differences in prize money. Anyway, they did not give me any worries at all, lowest manager performance indicator by the board was C+. They expect me to finish in relegation play-offs in L1 aswell so that might be the reason? It's been a long time I played around relegation zone so no idea. Yeah that's why I was interested in what happened with the board, as I very rarely play with teams that are likely to get relegated. In my save I got promoted, finished 6th first season up and now the board want a mid-table finish in the second season so they seem to have tweaked the club vision somewhat to be more fair. What's your recruitment like in Scotland? I take it you are struggling to get decent players in (wage budget must be super low right now?) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Youth recruitment went from limited to basic. I am still semi-professional team, when I was in 2nd tier I had the lowest wages (9 times lower than the number one team) but for 3rd tier my wages are around average and there are also some other semi-professional teams. Interestingly enough, noone wants my best players even though MacRae won top goalscorer in 2nd tier last year. Youth only is very tough, very impressive that you managed to get to the Championship so quickly! We beat Premiership' Ross County and Championship' Dundee on their stadiums and after beating Brechin and Peterhead aswell we qualify to the second stage of Betfred Cup from 1st place! All in all it was not a terrible season, although we will continue to struggle financially. Pretty good intake though. -Jef- Posted November 14, 2020 Share Posted November 14, 2020 Jeez, you've flown through the seasons and I barely made it to winter transfer window For challenges like this it's better to have gradual success and not he usual back-to-back-to-back promotions that we usually see when we can just buy our way to the top. Tried this last year with local team and it took me 5 years to get promoted and another 7 to finish in CL spot while never winning the league and getting Cup once. Best of luck!
