This guy starts as a Free Agent. Preston have offered a contract and there's also interest from other Championship clubs so he's probably willing to go there. Looks like he could do a decent job.

The previous Barca wonderkid Wilfrid Kaptoum has been released by Betis, now 24 years old. Looks very decent though!

If you are looking for a reliable RB for most Premership clubs I would recommend taking a look at this guy. I got him for £10.75m from Sevilla and so far he is proving to be a consistent performer in my Man Utd squad. His technical skills aren't outstanding but he more than makes up for it mentally and physically.

I picked him up at Kopenhagen after one of my scouts recommended him, worth every penny. Makes for an amazing Segundo Volante if you like fiddling around with the specialist roles. He scored 15 goals in 42 appearances from the DM position for my team that way.

Not an "hidden gem" so much but Fedor Chalov is a beast. Got him at AC Milan at the start of 1st season for 5.5M€ and scored 27 in 26 games. He wasn't brought to be a starter but now he's doing better than Ibrahimovic... Which is not for everyone!

he accepted a virtually identical contract with me (I paid him 12k per week), and didn't fuss over the fee (they accepted 5.5m outright, but I probably overpaid to rush the deal)

Maybe not a hidden gem but definitely a bargain. This guy has a release clause of 9.75m (less than what he is considered to be worth) at the beginning of the game playing for Pamplona and now he is valued at 35m.  Play him on the right of midfield or as an attacking midfielder in the advanced position.

Here are some of the players I have bought in my Ajax Save that were very cheap.

Efrain Alvarez

Alvarez hasn't played much for me so far but at 18 years old this Mexican attacking midfielder is one for the future and only cost me £5m from LA Galaxy. A definite superstar in the making.

Augustin Palavecino

An absolute beast of a player in my central midfield. Only cost me £1.9m from Deportivo Cali. It wont be long before this 24 year old Argentinian ends up playing for Argentina.

Melayro Bogarde

Melayro the nephe of former Ajax and Holland player Winston Bobarde is carrying on the family legacy playing very well as a right back and central defender. I signed him for £2.7m from TSG Hoffenheim. Only 18 years old. It wont be long before he follows his Uncle's path to playing for Ajax and Holland. 

I currently have him on loan to Go Ahead Eagles but he will be playing more first team football next season.

Mohammed Guindo

Guindo signed from RSC Anderlecht for £3.5m. Only 17 years old this Belgium player is another one for the future. This player is dubbed the new Emile Mpenza. He has been improving in training despite the lack of game time. I got high hopes for this guy.

Another 17 year old Belgium player this time signed from KRC Genk for a bargain £2m. KRC Genk always produce good to great young players. I can see myself selling him for big money in a few years time. He is currently on loan to Dutch side TOP Oss. He is a old school winger with good crossing, dribbling and first touch.

Boli

Boli is a little bit older then I usually go for when managing Ajax but he has done very well once I got rid of Huntlaar in January. 5 goals in 5 league games so far and forms a good partnership with Anthony. Only cost me £2m from Hungarian side Ferencvarosi.

We all know of Doria but at £850k he was my greatest bargain in a long time playing FM. Still only 26 years old he has great all round attributes and even though he hasn't played much I know I can depend on him when needed.

Another couple of bargains I got in January in my first season with Ajax.

Lucas Andersen the former Ajax player I resigned to the club from AaB for £4.3m. I needed a replacement for Dusan Tadic and he fit nicely. 

Breyton Fougeu

Another young prospect Breyton Fougeu signed from Lyon for £2.6m. Lyon always produce great young players and I think Fougeu will become a very good Ajax player before he goes on to better things with a higher rep team.

Charly Musonda

More of a forgotten gem then a hidden gem. Charly Musonda who Chelsea signed 9 years ago from RSC Anderlecht but barely a game for Chelsea, Was sent on loan to Real Betis, Celtic and Vitesse but was never given much game time.

There might be a reason for that but I have took the chance and signed him for £3m. I think this is great value if it works out for me as he is only 24 years old and suits my tactic well. Time will tell.

Vincent Janssen

Another forgotten man Vincent Janssen who signed form Spurs 5 years a go at the same time Harry Kane was emerging as the best England striker in a generation. Poor Janssen only got 2 goals in 27 games in his first season and Spurs and then barely played after that. He went on loan to Fenerbache and then got signed up for £5.25m to CF Monterrey where he went on to score 23 goals in 51 games for them before I signed him for a bargain price of £1.5m. He can definitely score goals in the Dutch league after banging in goals for Almere City and AZ. His one season at AZ he scored 27 goals in 34 games.

Having more fun in the norwegian market than since Ajer, Ødegaard and Hou Sæter

Halsoy might have random PA, I've just checked him in my game at 21 and he doesn't look half as good as on your screenshot. Williamsen ended up at Milan so he's a good bet. :)

There's actually a few more solid kids there, I'll post them later today during my lunch break!

Apologies if he's already been posted, but this Syrian striker looks absolutely brilliant and can be had for £3m ish first window.  He's 31 so not a long-term solution, but could do a job for any team.  Starts at Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia.

Poached these 2 CB's in Scandinavia in January 2021 thanks to my scout in the area

The Bosnian Van Dijk. 3 mill total from Malmo over installments, he is also HGN for England which is insane. Don't know if he's just great on my game or all games, but he is currently a prem standard player on my Norwich save first season with room to improve.

He has been doing well for me in my Anderlecht save.

Spent 3 years at Forest, so qualifies as HGN, his dad fell out with everyone, just as he was about to break into the Forest side, and took him back to Sweden to Malmo.

Spoiler alert but not seen a player in a 'smaller' league with a fixed PA as high as this kid for years. Real classy defender and a must-buy for any club who can afford him, IMO.

Not a free transfer and I don't know how known he really is, but after Faghir left my Kobenhavn team for Juve (for a healty 49M!), I picked up Leon Gomez Ferreno from River for 7,75M, which I believe was his release clause, at the start of the fourth season. Great attribute spread and perfect fit for both an AF of an F9 role. He was Europe's golden boy in his first season too, 35 goals in 28 competition games and 9 in 10 CL matches.
