There is no option for me to override malware protection

If you find you don't have this option available to you, do as follows:

- In the Finder on your Mac, locate Football Manager 2021. Most apps can be found in the Applications folder.
- Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
- Click Open.

I'm not getting any messages come up but the game and my whole computer just completely freeze, it's either when i am creating my manager profile and i get to the manager appeearance page or sometimes if i try skip it freeze's at the main menu page haven't been able to create my manager or even get beyond the main menu, i know my macbook is quite old now (late 2011) but FM20 still runs on it and i don't think the spce's are much different, i have tried lots of different solutions but nothing has worked so far.

I seen quite a few people mention it with the older mac's and i was thinking maybe its a graphics issue but on FM20 yeah my match graphics look crap so i usually play in 2D lol but the rest of the game runs fine so i don't see why it should be any different for FM21, the overall running of the game shouldn't be affected but just the match day, but it could be, i will be pissed off if it is i'm not exactly going to go get a whole new computer just because the graphics cards are a bit old for 1 game lol

I'm getting the “fm” will damage your computer. You should move it to the Bin. I have tried everything suggested in this forum and on the Apple support and I've been in touch with Apple and apparently there isn't a way to override the mac and tell it, it is ok and not Malware, which is mental!! Apple have basically said it's up to the developer to sort, so fingers crossed it will be sorted when full release comes on unless anyone comes up with a fix in the meantime!

Please bear in mind there are different issues being raised in this thread.

For the Malware popup issue, please try the FAQ entry. If this doesn't work for you we are investigating.

We're also aware of an issue on OSX 10.13.6 if you have an Intel HD 3000 graphics card - if you have this issue please create your OWN separate thread. Thanks.
