In my mind, that means I can sell them to a bigger club tack on a nice 50% future fee clause and hope the lottery ticket gets cashed if they continue to improve and move to a even bigger club as a result. I don't want perfect players at the lower levels. I want players who want to get better. Mercenaries want to get better. I agree with you. This personality seems to hide high ambition in my testing and decent Professionalism. The same also seems to be true for Fickle. Spoiler this is what my testing of real and newgen players (combined) for a mercenary player with media-friendly returns. The data is from FM20.
Popular Post DazRTaylor 1,724
End of Season Review Season 2044/45 SV Babberich League Table - In our ninth season at this level, we finally won the league and secured promotion to the second tier. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were very consistent throughout the campaign and went on long unbeaten runs. TOTO KNVB Beker - A missed opportunity. We made it through to the first round before losing on penalties away to fourth tier side SteDeCo. Pre Season Friendlies - We played seven games though only won two of these matches, so it was not ideal. Squad - I worry we are not strong enough for the professional second division. Time will tell. Squad Dynamics - Exceptional, as you would expect. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - No big sales this season, with a total of six departures, four on free transfers and two for nominal transfer fees. Youth Candidates - A better than expected intake, with yet another goalkeeper, Regilio van Aken YP45A369, being the hottest prospect from this group. Finances - Despite the player sales bdetailed above and despite the £1m earned from a sell on clause, we are still in the red. Key Players Marc Chapman YP36B226 - Our goalkeeper is always dependable. Yordi Koutsocheras YP40J298 - The striker had a sensational season, scoring 34 goals in his 35 appearances. This is even more impressive when you consider his xG was only 19.08. Berkan Yılmazer YP39G279 - Playing better than last season, the Turkish midfielder is capable of even more. Nerijus Rocys YP40E293 - An excellent campaign from the Lithuanian, who plays on the right wing. Has been sulking since January because I declined a derisory offer for him. Redouane Amokrane YP39L284 - Playing on the left wing, he had a solid season. He compliments Rocys nicely. Next Season Survival. I have doubts about this but we will give it our best shot. January and February were weird with a combination of cup matches and rescheduled matches due to poor pitch conditions. League Table: We finish 17th and safe from relegation. Dulwich Hamlet win the league on the last day over Northampton and earn direct promotion to League Two. Playoff Tree: Northampton bully through everyone in the playoffs to earn the second promotion spot to League Two. FA Cup: Nice run in the FA Cup ended by a strong Chelsea squad just wish the match was at their place for the payday. FA Trophy: Another good cup run ended by Maidenstone United in a replay after we missed an extra-time penalty in the first match. xG General Performance: Last in the league in shots per game (7.52) and 23rd in xG goals per game (0.89). An average defense helped us stay up xG Expected vs Actual: Overperformance in both xG Goals and xG points helped us in a fight against relegation. xG Attacking Efficiency xG Defensive Efficiency Stats 1 Stats 2 Transfers 2025-26 Player of the Year - Josias Tipp: Tipp led the defense throughout the season. We were a much better team with him in the lineup. Wants to move to a bigger club and I'm trying not to stand in his way. Cash is king at this point. 2025-26 Rookie of the Year - Jawad Amrini 25B: Amrini was the top player from the Class of 2025. He should move from the attacking midfield line to leading the line next season. 2026 Youth Intake 2026 Youth Intake DNA Duncan Woodford 26A Damian Hill 26B Graham Grice 26C Larry Parsons 26D Ellis Sewell 26E Moments to Remember Best XI Accolades Farnborough Almanac Sewell 26E is already rewriting the National League record book The club record is starting to fill up now. Not sure how they work, but every player I've ever had poached always has only grey star potential then when they show up they seem to be similar to my own prospects. Popular Post AlwaysNalah 94
FK Blansko Season 7 So as in my earlier post we had a rapid start and was top after 7 games, bearing in mind we have finished 14th in 4 of the previous 6 seasons. A few factors played into this, a cull of some of the deadwood and a settled first 11, who 8-9 are now turning 21-22 and finding more consistency is a bit part. Further to this even though we still have a weak squad compared to the rest of the division I firmly believe the dynamics play a big part and we now have 10 influential + players who play most weeks, and the team leaders have a good 'DNA' fighting back in games when we are down. Another part is the change in tactics, our best player is a Poacher so from playing cautiously for the first 6 seasons we switched to a positive fast paced, aggressive in your face power tactic, which involves getting the ball to break to him at all times with supporting wingers, and making another focus on set plays (the players have an additional session every Monday) This meant we went from worst scorers in the league to the 5th best and Bird was joint top scorer in the league, but we also let a lot in, often from the opposition cutting in from the wing, which I have tried to fix by playing a bit wider. The other downfall is the I cannot find a good CM, so we often lose the ball between the back and the front line (our BBM has played 170+ games and has 5 goals) The Main reason for the improvement is the beast Ross Bird, he will take us to the Synot Liga one day, I dearly hope. As you can see the squad is very lopsided with 3-4 key players and a lot of supporting cast. due to the fact we have .5* facilities, but the best coaching in the division, we are relaying on those players with good determination to make them selves good, which is why my GK was tagged as 2H but has survived where many others have not as he is resolute. Seasons 8-9 are to carry on the progress and try to get closer to the playoffs, after which a few of the top players contracts end and they want to go to bigger clubs. Im hoping if we can get close by then that they will stay, as we can push on in season 10. Maybe wishful thinking, I might be stuck here forever! We did fall away at the end of the season and finish 7th, but we broke, Highest Position, Most Goals for club and Most Points. (we also broke our own league yellow card record, and our foul column is fairly impressive. The intake was fine, no one stood out, the 5*s were all pretty poor with poor personalities which I struggle to change with. A couple have progressed to the first team squad, and are in a mentoring group to try and force some change, HOYD was changed after the season. JLAB 333
So I may have gotten myself in a situation where I'm wondering who do I choose as my HoYD. This is my current HoYD who has a Resolute personality and a Reserved Media Handling Style, but has been at the club for almost 9 years now. He's been responsible for bringing through the side that has been performing really well. However, I've found a Model Citizen HoYD, who also has a Reserved Media Handling Style. My concern is his tactical style and his age. Other than that, his 4-4-2 formation isn't far from the 4-2-4 formation that I'm currently using. Who would you guys choose in my situation? Popular Post Raffen 163
Table | Squad | Finances | Transfers Another surprisingly solid season, ending up in 7th. Had a proper dip in form at the end of the season, and was thoroughly beaten by Chorley in the first play off match. We were actually up in 3rd place a couple of times mid season. Defense was poorer this season, but we scored more again. Reached the 1st round of the FA cup again, fluking a 1-0 win away at National League Boreham Wood in the last qualifying match. They even missed a penalty in the match. Bradford, who in the end got promoted from L2, beat us easily in the first round though. Decent team performances, except the anchor man Wayne Wells 30a, but I think that's partly because of the role. Miguel McGee 29a my stand out performer. He doesn't seem to develop beyond his initial skill at the intake in 29 though, sadly. Youth preview | Youth intake Finally there was hope for a central midfielder in the preview. They must've meant James Davey-Lawless 34b, although I'm not entirely convinced yet. The goalkeeper Scott Collins 34a does however look like he might have something. Slow as a tortoise, weak as a lamb and stamina of a chain smoking 100 year old, but can punch and kick. A miracle happened, I finally managed to convince the board to use some of the excess money and put it into youth recruitment. Fingers crossed there will be some actual talent coming our way in the future. It's getting a bit stale down here in the dumps.
TheGreatTraveler 146
I hate the board, sold him and didn't even give me the chance to complain to see if we could add a future fee. He'd just scored 5 goals in the first 4 games of the season too
Popular Post Sanno11 174
Nuneaton Borough Season Review 2036/2037 Competitions EFL League One - 2nd position - League table FA Cup - lost in 3rd round (0 - 3 vs. Manchester City) Papa John's Trophy - lost in group stage Carabao Cup - lost in 1st round We had really consistent form all year, the foundation was the lack of goals we conceded. Our keeper recorded 20 clean sheets for the year, which always helps. We started the season with an emphatic 6-1 win against AFC Wimbledon and carried on from there. We held our own in the top 6 for the whole season, it wasn't until there was only 10 games to go the picture became clearer. QPR were setting the pace and there is no doubt the deserved to go up as champions. Then there was us, Blackpool and Portsmouth fighting for the 2nd spot. Our run in, included home games against both and we managed to take advantage. Once we had got some breathing space to 3rd we maintained that, and with us having 3 games left to play, we were confirmed as promoted. I can't say we didn't deserve it, but it is still a surprise. We managed to reach the 3rd round of the FA Cup for the 1st time and got lucky, drawing Man City away. They rolled over us 3-0 and it was humbling, but the money was great. Playing Squad No, big transfer sagas this year. The team that started the year is still whole. Our Goalkeeper deserves a lot of credit Pat Kilcawley (untagged), with 20 clean sheets he gave us a great platform to build from. Our performance analysis put us in the 'Busy, Impenetrable' quad, so we faced plenty of shots, he was just very good. Our two main talents going forward are Scott Cartwright and Gavin Sawyer (35b), both have the potential to be Championship talents. I feel like we are just about big enough to keep hold of these two, as hopefully, Premier League teams won't be interested. Sawyer was our top league scorer this year with 16 goals from AMR (inside forward). Steveroy and Tash and still going strong, 2037 has seen Antigua in the final qualifying stage for the 2038 World Cup, nothing is decided yet. Youth Intake Please forgive the screenshot, I forgot again. A great intake with one talent who looks destined for bigger things. Trevor Housley (37b) has gone straight into the 1st team and will feature in rotation next year. Of the four I have tagged three play in very similar positions, so I need to figure out what I want from them. Matt Hall is the one I am least sure about in terms of position. Nathan Lovett (37a) Trever Houseley (37b) Matt Hall (37c) Matthew Conlon (37d) Finances, Facilities and Transfers The 9 million we had in the bank has shrunk, but has been invested wisely. Our youth and training facilities were updated, and once the promotion was secured, another set of upgrades was approved. This has been complimented, with a youth level and youth recruitment upgrade. We've also had the mysterious new stadium announcement, with absolutely no details.

Yes , some personalties have fixed ranges. For example personalty X has 10-20 amb , 15-20 prof. and 17-20 det. Then i calculated how close they are from a perfect personalty (20-20 on everything). It's a indication, your player with balanced personalty could be the best one with everything on 1-14 but in reality he could have 14 for the three most important parts. JLAB 333
ACN Siena 1904 - 2031/32 Season Preview A new season and a new division. The thing that caught my attention straight away was the sheer difference in the sponsorship income between the teams. In my first season at Siena we had been bringing in £2M, but now we're only bringing in 800K. Not only that, but that are teams that bring in over four times the amount of money in sponsorship income, and twice as much money as my original sponsorship income 10 seasons ago. It was a realisation that this could be a challenge to keep up with the other clubs financially, especially if they, or Serie A clubs, decided to raid our club for some of our best players because of the financial package they could provide. Another realisation was just how lowly the media predicted that we would do. The predictions on the left are from the 1st July 2031, after all of the loan deals had been ended and it was the first day of the transfer window, the predictions on the right are the 10th August 2031, after a lot of transfer dealings had been made. I knew now, looking at these predictions and how much had been changed just little faith the media had in us after we got promoted last season, despite scoring 100 goals and winning our league by 11 points. There was a reason why most of the teams going up to Serie B ended up getting relegated in the end. It promised to either be a very hard season, or a season where we could just all-in and just stop caring about the consequences as we knew that we had nothing to lose, since people didn't expect anything from us anyway.
Armeniar 224
S9 - Ligue 1 (6th) - Coupe de France (10th Rnd) Squad - U19 - Out on loan - Transfers Transfers The very last remaining "real" player, Bijimine, left us. He was getting too old for the group, an age difference of ten years with the second oldest is considerable... Bijimine's expiring contract was not renewed. For the symbolic sum of 55 euros he was even granted a nice last adventure in Cordoba. Leblanc, a youth product of season "0", was also allowed to leave without a transfer fee. He had expressed this wish to the board throughout the previous season to leave on a free. (screen) Leblanc had disappeared into the background the last two years, he hopes to become important again at US Créteil-Lusitanos in the Ligue 2. Thanks for the eight fruitful seasons! So it is only in the ninth season that we start without players who were already there at the beginning of our journey. Technically that's not right tho, as Bonin & Belarbi were youth products from season "0". Furthermore, Guyot was also allowed to leave on a transfer free basis, the loan at Amiens didn't turn out the way we wanted. He left for the Portuguese Famalicao for 125K + 30% profit on next sale. Ligue 1 Things are getting better and better, every year we finished just a little higher. Our debut season we finished 14th, then 10th and last year 9th. Before this season, I really believed we could do even better. There is enough talent and the team is really used to each other, so despite the young age I was confident. That we are a team that has to be considered by others in the Ligue 1 became clear throughout the season. There are only three sides we have never beaten: we did manage to have a draw against Monaco (1x) and Lyon (3x), while P$G defeated us ten times already, with the 8-1 in the cup as the low point this season. Not surprisingly, these three clubs also are the top three in the league. They are and will remain out of our reach for the time being, but for all the teams below them we can make things pretty difficult. We did exactly do that. We were even in fourth place for a while, but we failed in the final race. If we wanted to qualify for European football, however, this was an opportunity not to be missed... Fortunately we did not miss our chances, and despite a bad run at the end of the season we finished 6th. This means that next season we play in the Conference League... Wow! LOSC Lille has relegated by the way, a club in decline... Highlighted players In 2029 we have another Ligue 1 Revelation of the Year! Our club is popular, as it turns out. This time the award went to Bamba. I can actually only agree, because Bamba was a silent force behind our strong performance. Despite his height, he stands his ground in the heart of the defense. For now he will stay there, but if a good central defender is found in the future, he might be moved to the midfield as BWM. By the way, throughout the season he received the qualification of "wonderkid", the very first at the club! Traoré in turn received the international trophy NxGn, whatever that may be. The Burkinese is doing an excellent job and has become a top player, both for the club and his country. Youth intake Spoiler The facilities were upgraded yet again. (screen) Özkan is the promising striker from the preview. We had some other options in front besides Bokungu, but not a pure finisher like this half Turk. Hopefully he can become an interesting player for us! Furthermore, Jabnoun is the annual talented goalkeeper. However, he is quite small and has much work ahead of him. That being said, I think Roos is a much more useful player. A central defender who is not too bad with his feet, very welcome. Just has to improve the marking and speed a bit and he looks good!

Popular Post darren1983 3,018
Season 2027/28 Review Sky Bey League One League - A really good first season at this level for us. When you do back to back promotions, especially in this challenge, you worry that it'll catch up with you but the players keep growing and delivering. Spent most of the first half of the season in the top 6 but as was always likely to happen we plateaued and become pretty inconsistent as we reached the magic 50 point target I set out for. 9 of our defeats came in the 2nd half of the season. We did though end the season OK with only 1 loss in our last 10 games, we did though draw 5 of those (4 in a row to end end the season) but gives me hope that we should still be able to aim for midtable next season again. I think it's going to be a few seasons at this level for us. League Cup - pretty poor. Out first round again but this time to a side in our league EFL Cup - again used it for high potential players not yet in the first team or those on the fringes that needed minutes. We got spanked each game FA Cup - really annoyed by this. Lost to a non-league side despite playing my best team as I wanted a cup run for finances. Just one of those games we have every now and again where we don't even look like having a hot let alone winning a game. Transfers - The big sale was Reece Townsend 24C swhich for some reason was on last seasons transfers page despite being sold after the season rolled around. I knew we would struggle to keep him and 1.1m was far too much for us to turn down. In Jan of this season we also lost Gardner who was slowly becoming a key player in the middle for us. Stoke matched his release clause. That's 2 big sales to Championship clubs now though so shows that our higher end players are pretty decent at least Squad - Getting too big. We don't have a U23 squad so as soon as they become too old for U18s they get put here. I need to get a couple feeder clubs I can loan them out too soon I think. Otherwise the main worry is goals. Slane got 30+ again but no one else even got 10 (next best was a CB with 8) Finances - Looking a bit better now we had our end of season payments but even with 1.6m in transfers in we're still in the red. We had a takeover (our 2nd in the last 4 years) and are now a fans owned club which is nice but they're not going to be able to provide the funds I need. Our academy level has now dropped from 3 to 4 as well. Youth Intake - Another decent one (5 5* PA players) but the personalities are becoming worse each season, might be time for a new HYOD I think. I keep all my staff on 1 year deals still so I can upgrade each summer if I find better. We did though get our first player poached in this save Finlay Cattermole 28A - I like him, an option out wide with decent paceRichard Idrissu 28B - Dutch keeper. I feel like keepers get produced a lot this year as he becomes our 4th decent one in just 7 intakes. Trouble is I'm bad at developing keepers as I try to loan them out to get game time so never know how one will develop, guess it helps having so many this year so farMichael Young 28C - not actually a 5* PA so wouldn't usually tag but I like the look of him, could end up being a good understudy or even replacement for Slane Harry Duff 28D - we need more DMs coming through, looks OK but needs a lot of workLuke Neale 28E - the guy my coaches we most excited by, I like him, could be a replacement for the sold Gardner in a season or 2Kris Herdman 28F - I really like this full back, looks the part physically but reason's he's tagged so low is his height. Not sure home comfortable I am having such a small fullback Career Progress Season League Position Youth Recruitment Youth Coaching Notes & Achievements 2021/22 VNLN 5th Adequate Adequate First coaching badge 2022/23 VNLN 2nd Adequate Good Promoted via playoffs, FA Trophy runners up 2023/24 VNL 16th Average Excellent 2nd coaching badge 2024/25 VNL 12th Average Excellent 3rd coaching badge 2025/26 VNL 6th Average Excellent Promotion via playoffs 2026/27 League 2 1st Good Exceptional Promotion as champions 2027/28 League One 11th Good Exceptional

Popular Post Diego D10S 379
The Seagulls Season 2024 / 2025 A step back this season despite great reluts in FA - Cup. Have moved slowly towards full youth academy squad and next season will the first season as full youth. It will be a very important sesason for several reasons. Most players in senior squad starting to demand higher wages something I wont be able to afford unless I have a good run in the Fa Cup every season. Also have 3 players that wont sign new contract because they want to play at a higher level. So I need a promotion in the next couple of season if I want to keep up the progress the club i making. Youth intake was very good as it has been every season for me so far. GL ALL !!
Britrock 202
Club Atlético Sarmiento de Resistencia - 2022/23 season review This season was a bit of a disaster. We started really strongly and were actually top after the first 2 games, but it was a long way down from there. We could barely buy a win in the second half of the season and were only saved from automatic relegation because the bottom 3 teams were absolutely awful (although they consistently managed to beat us, naturally). We ended up in the relegation playoff, a 4 team playoff where the loser goes down. We lost 1-0 in the semi-final so ended up in the "final", in which we took an early lead in the 18th minute which we held all the way to the 85th minute. The game ended 1-1 and went straight to penalties. They missed their first penalty and we scored all of ours, so we survived by the smallest margin possible! I don't have much hope for next season but I'll keep my fingers crossed and we'll see how it goes. Offensively we're pretty good, but defensively we're absolutely shocking. Guillermo Sanchez was an absolute stud up front, hitting 21 goals for us from everywhere - long shots, tap ins, headers, everything. Unlike last year I won't be losing him at the end of the season, so we'll try to run it back with him next year. Quite a few of the tagged youths got game time, but no one really stood out yet.
Popular Post darren1983 3,018
Considering I don't scout or sign anyone it's crazy how long it takes me to get through the period between seasons First thing to do is work out contracts so I know who is here and who isn't. Then it's the U18's to see who is going to be too old for them next season and then who is maybe a bit too good for that level now and should be in the first team squad. Once that is done I sit and work out my main squad and then have to figure out what's best for the players not in in, should I keep them (maybe for mentoring reasons) or would them going out on loan be best for them? Then it's onto my backroom staff, can I find upgrades? If not it's then contract time for them. After that it's setting up the pre-season games and training. Then onto full training when the fixtures are out, now we're full time I am 100% in control of training for both main squad and U18's so it's putting them into the calendar for every week (I know here I could do it in a weekly basis when I get the emial but I prefer to take 30-45 minutes to sit and it it all in 1 go so I don't miss any) Then it's looking at individual training - do I need to make any changes? Once all that is done I tend to sit and look at my set pieces to make sure my best targets are in the right positions, my best takers are taking them and that I'm not left exposed by them. Also then messing about on here or youtube or twitter - it's actually no longer a shock how long it takes me

vikeologist 883
Vikeologist's 17th Folkestone Intake Report (and 13th Intake Review) A pretty promising intake. Our slightly improved facilities maybe finally paying off. The top 2 prospects are a central defender and a central midfielder, and there are potential openings there. The outcome of our season is more or less decided, so I could throw some of these guys straight in should I wish. Kim Min-Ki 17a – Not entirely sure what he’s doing in Folkestone. Doesn’t even speak English that well, but has a good personality, apart from the determination which we can fix. However, and really not doing much to reverse stereotypes of Asians, he’s very short. Neil Norris 17b – A central midfielder who would be our free kick taker from the start. Jermaine Starkey 17c – Ostensibly a right back, but equally good in the centre and a lot taller than Min-Ki. Peace Ncube 17f – Seemingly the player with the best CA, and a professional personality. YP13 Review Jack Collett 13a – One of our starting strikers, and last year’s top scorer, albeit because of injury to the deity that plays alongside him. Is really quite a good player. Gavin Purcell 13b – Battling away to be the backup left winger, but he hasn’t progressed all that well. Adam James 13c – Will be leaving in a huff this summer because I didn’t manage to get anybody to take him on loan, because no one wanted him. Luca Cawley 13f – Has picked up quite a few games in central defence, but the intake above has probably consigned him to irrelevance. Still, one really good player, and a few that have been helpful for depth, so really not a bad intake.

AlwaysNalah 94
FK Blansko Season 8 Apologies for the quick update first time home in 3 weeks so got a backlog of a few seasons 8 Years and we..... are in the Synot Liga. What a season we started off on fire and by the xmas break were top of the league, which put me in an awkward spot; as we have poor everything the only way to improve players is to play them and I just could not risk it, which meant we faded at the end and only had 2 wins in the last 8, hanging on to the playoffs by GD only. Ross Bird destroyed the league with 19 goals in 30 games and won Player and Young Player of the Season, along with scoring and 87th minute winner in the away leg of the playoffs. (Yet he is still not a club icon!!!) One of the downsides of the playoff system is that we went straight into pre season without a break The intake was much better with a few promising first team prospects (one of which scored from the bench in the playoffs). Sova is already better than our 2 mainstay CM and just needs a bit of retraining and game time. Checked on my massive list of poached players and one of them is touted as the next Jan Koller which is really annoying! We are nowhere near good enough to stay in the league, the aim for seasons 9 and 10 are to avoid the one automatic relegation spot and fight the playoffs, at the end of season 10 our really low sponsorship ends and we should get a big increase, along with the new 10 times bigger stadium we are renting. At the minute we are still losing close to a million a year so no upgrades for at least the next 2 year. This will be a massive battle, we should never have gone up but rode a close tight squad along with a beast of a finisher. Finally Every single player apart from our best (RB Brazilian Cleiton who, who wants to go to be a bigger club ) has signed a new 3 year contract so even if we go down should be able to keep most of them. Cleiton has now surpassed Bird as our best player, and is considered good enough for the Synot Liga
Padders 1,553
Season Review 2100/01 WOW! What a disappointing season! As posted above, sitting top in January and on a 14 match unbeaten run 3-1 up after the 1st leg of the Semi Final of the League Cup I lose 5-1 in the 2nd leg of the cup to mid table Swansea (I was top!) and win 5 games out of 16 in the league! Absolutely joke form put of nowhere, typical FM being FM. One bad/unlucky result the whole season capitulates! As usual Crepaldi spits his dummy out and wants to leave at the end of the season New stadium on the the cards WE GO AGAIN!!!

vikeologist 883
20 hours ago, Padders said: Just over half the season and sit top Plenty of time for a dip in form but fingers crossed we can keep going This version is the first time when I don't feel safe when topping the table. Form can dip so suddenly, and the ways that i presume stopped that happening in previous versions don;t seem to work on FM21. If I'm topping the table by a point about midway through, I wouldn't even feel a playoff spot was assured, or European qualification in your case. That's just me though. I have / had no faith in my youngsters not to fall to pieces.
Popular Post vikeologist 883
Vikeologist's 2037/8 Folkestone Season Report Last season I overhauled my first team, because of a pre-season injury to our star striker, and even though my team for this season was the same, the investment in the youngsters paid off. We lost out first match to Eastleigh, who turned out to be our main rivals for the title, but once we beat them in the return fixture to commence the second half of the season we were on our way. We won with 4 matches to spare, enabling me to throw some of my latest intake straight in. They did quite well, which is a pity, because some of their determinations are awful. So, 17 seasons to gain the first promotion. At this rate we’ll be in the Premier League in another 68 years. It probably wouldn’t take anywhere near that long though. We haven’t stood still for 17 years. For a while we were losing money, but, maybe thanks to successful fan days, our average attendance has increased from 609 to 1,653. This in turn enabled us to slowly improve the facilities. Junior coaching has had 4 bumps from Basic to Good, Youth Recruitment 3 from Limited to adequate. Youth and Training have each gone up one from poor to basic, and our youth rating from 0 to 4. Our youth facilities should be going up another notch in the next 6 months. I don’t think this has noticeably paid off in the intakes until the last one, but we haven’t had a terrible intake for a while, so maybe that’s it. Will we stay up next season? I expect so. We play lots of teams in the National in the cups and do fairly well against them. I doubt the board will agree to go fully professional any time soon, and nearly all our players have 30% promotion wage increases, so hopefully our attendances will see a further boost. Top Goalscorer – Michael Morgan 9a – 53 Normal service was resumed with Morgan injury-free. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Michael Morgan 9a – 7.57 Man of The Match – Michael Morgan 9a – 20 Most Valuable Player– Michael Morgan 9a Obviously no point over-thinking things here. Most Appearances (Regens) – Jason ‘Nepotism’ Ramsay 1a – 708 Only another 7 appearances this season. He’s 32 now, and I expect he’ll move into management soon, like his midfield partner for a lot of seasons, Lachlan Cook who had a very good first season in management securing a mid-table finish. It’s possible that my nephew’s record will stand forever. Probably for another 8 seasons at least when our goalie might catch up. Most Goals (Regens) – Ellis Andrews 2c - 250 No change here. Morgan is now on 216 goals, so barring injury will probably overtake Andrews next season, even though we’ll be at a higher level. DazRTaylor 1,724
End of Season Review Season 2045/46 SV Babberich League Table - A satisfying first season in the second division. We did go on a fifteen match winless run at once point, though we did enough to survive quite comfortably at the end. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We didn't win from mid October until February and I was quite worried, but we won some key games to survive. TOTO KNVB Beker - We had a very tough draw, away to top tier outfift FC Volendam, who promptly hammered us 6-2, ending any chance of a cup run. Pre Season Friendlies - A much beter season, where we won five of our seven games. Mid Season Friendlies - As we were in the middle of a long winless run in the league, I set up three games against lower league opposition to try and raise morale. We won all three. Squad - The players played way above their level. If we can do this again next year, I will be delighted. Squad Dynamics - Excellent as I always expect it to be. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Seven permanent departures, including a club record sale for £2.2m. Youth Candidates - A good intake with right winger Toon Nieuwboer YP46B386 looking like the best prospect. Finances - Due to the club record player sale and the TV rights we earned over the season, the finances are healthy, for the first time in years. Key Players Marc Chapman YP36B226 - A good enough season from our goalkeeper, though he did struggle at times. Yordi Koutsocheras YP40J298 - Another excellent return from the striker, scoring 22 goals in 39 appearances. Berkan Yılmazer YP39G279 - The 22 year old Turk is head and shoulders above our other midfielders. Nerijus Rocys YP40E293 - Our best player who proved he is more than good enough for the second tier. Dirk van der Velden YP42H328 - The left back enjoyed a good first season at this level. Next Season Another season surviving would be lovely. DazRTaylor 1,724
Another long serving club stalwart has left. Erjon Bahtiri YP26A65 had been with the club for over twenty years and played a club record (for an outfield player) 519 times. Sad to see him go, though he was patently not good enough for the league we play in.

I agree but I would say my average age is over 25 at the moment. Most of the 1st team have been with me for years I wasn’t surprised with the drop in form. Happens all the time. One bad result and bang!

Every year about the midway point we go out of the FA Cup and FA Trophy, and that often induces an avalanche of defeats. In the past I've always found someone's form to praise when we unexpectedly lose or to berate in the opposite scenario, but that doesn't seem to work so well. Plus even when we're winning, the average ratings aren't so great. Ac you may notice from my screenshot in the report, in a season where we gained over 100 points and won by a country mile, only 3 of my starters finished with a rating over 7. Still, good for discipline / boosting those attributes. Annoyingly, my latest arrivals seem to have mastered the art of a 6.6 rating every match.

Its at an early stage, so not a huge problem atm - but could escalate I guess. Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve this? cheers Spoiler Spoiler

holidaysong 112
FC United of Manchester ; season 2035/36 League Table ; Squad ; Starting 11 ; Transfers ; Youth Candidates A fairly forgettable season but valuable experience for the next generation. I finished 21st but 10 points clear of the drop. 9 of my 12 wins came before Christmas, while sitting pretty in mid table at the half way stage I decided to focus on game time for my youngsters in the second half of the season. Particularly in midfield, I was fielding 3 teenagers out of 4 across the middle for most of the run in. I have some big decisions to make around goalkeepers. I'm in the ridiculous scenario where 3 of my best 5 players are goalkeepers, with my first choice keeper dropping to 3rd in the ranking according to my staff's opinion. I will probably loan out the 19 year old Ukrainian again, and bring Daws into the first time fold to challenge for the #1 shirt. I'm so afraid of letting a potential superstar go, that I am hoarding players and it's definitely a quantity over quality approach. I constantly have about 20 players out on loan. Anyone have any thoughts on a hoard and spread your net wide approach vs. a focus on quality over quantity approach for this kind of save?
Raffen 163
3 hours ago, vikeologist said: Last season I overhauled my first team, because of a pre-season injury to our star striker, and even though my team for this season was the same, the investment in the youngsters paid off. We lost out first match to Eastleigh, who turned out to be our main rivals for the title, but once we beat them in the return fixture to commence the second half of the season we were on our way. Congrats! Well deserved! I think I have a few seasons left before I can join you. We seem to be a regular play off contender now, but the top teams are still way better than us, even if we sometimes can pull of an upset. Had this happen around Christmas 2034 , first preview after the upgrade to recruitment: Never seen this much green lines before. Just hoping my excitement doesn't get crushed come April

ravenation 164
Gainsborough Trinity Season 2036/2037. 18th place Championship - FA cup 3rd round - Carabeo cup 1st round We survived and had many up and downs during season. Our 4-0 thrashing of Derby at home, our 1-0 vicotyr at home against Watford, to ou 7-0 defeat away against Watford. But we survived and managed to put many new players into the team, which was needed. Our topscorer is our right wing Daniel Skinner with 11 goals - quite worrying our strikers dont make more goals. The club need to FIRE the guy in charge of sponsorships - 48.000 euro in sponsorship income in Championship is just ridiculous. So we lost tons of money again. 1,7 million euro. Our U18 team demolished their season undefeated and won their division with 30 points down to 2nd place and took the cup final with a 6-0 win. They need more challenges and we need more money to invest! At least we managed to get the board onboard to both Youth and Senior facility upgrade.
