DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2035/36 SV Babberich I was promised loads of terrible full balls and wingers and to be honest, I am actually pleased. I think this is another good intake.
Popular Post Cheez3y
End Of Season Review 2030 - Eliteserien (1st tier) Media Prediction Finally we are gettin the respect, we deserve. Next upgrades are in the pipeline. Transfers: Out Part 1 + Out Part 2 Really tough this season. Valerenga was almost the entire year on the same points with us. They even beat us, but they bottled it on the last day of the season. League Games: Part 1 + Part 2 Scored 92 goals in the league! Supercup: Game Won via pens against Viking. Braathens Cup: Games Rosenburg again..... International: 2029/30 Chelsea was to much for us. They got all the way into the finals, where they lost vs Atletico. 2030/31 Due to out success in the ECL 2 years ago, Norway got their insta group stage spot back. At the end the group was harder then last year, but we are through again. We scored some goals this season, holy moly. 2nd part of the season I promoted Rabiei and Frode from the U19. Frode looks damn good. Under 19: Treble! But sadly with all the promoted player and players out on loan, they out of the Youth CL. 3,5 star team now!! Top 6 Regens: 2 more years we got time to convince Rodrigues to stay. I really dont want to lose him... Edited January 10, 2021 by Cheez3y

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2035/36 SV Babberich League Table - We were ten points clear at one stage before BVV reeled us in and went top of the table themselves. We recovered and were confirmed champions and promotion, with one game remaining. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We started the season by winning our first nine games before losing top spot. A huge win away to promotion rivals BVV near the end of the season proved vital as we won the title and secured promotion to the third tier. TOTO KNVB Beker - We made it through to the first round proper, before a convincing loss away to second tier outfit FC Eindhoven. Pre Season Friendlies - Just the two defeats, both against second tier sides. Mid Season Friendlies - Three games and three wins. Squad - A good squad, one that is getting stronger as the players grow. Squad Dynamics - Excellent, as always. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - One departure and it was a key player, Stefan van de Riet YP30A129 leaving for another tier four club, HBS. He refused to sign a new deal. Youth Candidates - Another good intake, with Vivier Gerezgiher YP36A225 looking like the best prospect. Finances - We made a small profit this season, largely due to the gate receipts in the cup. We are still in the red by quite a lot, however. Key Players Olivier van Brakel YP23B18 - The goalkeeper maintained his form from last season and had another good campaign. Angelo Richard YP27C83 - The centre back is still our best defender. Jeroen Seedorf YP28D100 - Our best player, playing on the right wing and was unplayable at times. Tjeu Voight YP31C147 - His goals proved vital in our promotion challenge. Ashar van Kessel YP32C163 - In his first season as the first choice on the left winger, he played above himself and developed nicely. Next Season Survival. As long as we are not relegated, I will be delighted. ravenation
Gainsborough Trinity 8th season. 11th place Vanorama National - FA cup 4th round - FA-trophy 5th round Mixed season. In league we were again hard to beat and our goalie a total beast and he was favourite to win the player of year award. After 23 matches we were 8th - just 1 point from play off - but unfortunately the program for december, january and february killed our momentum. But we have many more palyers now that can compete in 1st team as we rotate more. Goalscore 50-53 In FA cup we went out in 4rd round at home to Millwall from Championship. We managed to beat Blackpool in 3rd to get there. I had hoped for an away game against a big side for the money - but didnt happen. FA Trophy was nothing special - we didnt managed to defend our title. Youth intake looks the best ever - players that can already go into 1st team and a Norwegian striker that are already best at the club. We managed to gt the board o upgrade youth recruitment, junior coaching and youth facilities(700.000 EURO!!!!! that is insane as we are still just Basic) I still dont believe we can promote next season - but we will give it a shot to reach play off - but i think midtable is more realistic.
OlivierL
From the smaller nations with short leagues , what are the biggest odds of getting a lot of nationalities ? Andorra, Iceland, Faroe Island, Malta, Finland, Norway ? Did i forget a small league ? (gibraltar not allowed , only one tier). @Cheez3y @XaW or other specialists ? i want to start tonight with a long (most of the time instant result) youth only save :o

South Europe nations like Spain, Portugal, Italia, Andorra is Africa the number 1.
XaW
Teie IF Season 2022 review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Well this was a fun and exciting season, and we narrowly avoided relegation on the final day! It looked we were going down for a long part of the season, but a win on the final day kept us up! I relied on a lot of the youngsters this season, and I really think it helped their development. Still, at this rate, I'll be stuck down here for a long long time. Oh well, more time to get in youth players then! In Norgesmesterskapet we beat Christiania and Borre before losing to Træff in the 1st round. Youth players of note: He really came through with goals for us this season. Very up and down in performances, but still scored more than enough to be the best youth player this season. I tossed him in mainly because of his pace and it worked occasionally. Just have him bomb on down the right and cross and hope for the best.
Bartrcm
So I've put my Holland save on hold due to 2 reasons. I found it too easy, so the fun was gone, and my youngest daughter is extremely interested in FM. So I bought here the game and we rae playing an online youth save in Sweden. To be honest she play better than I as she won promotion in the second season, and I'm always battling against relegation. I also started a youth game in Italy, and I started the game with a team I'v saw the stadium a couple years ago, being on holiday in Tuscany. Unfortunaly the ground wasn't open, but I could take some pictures.

Cheez3y
Youth Intake 2031 An OK intake. I give the new HoYD some time, like 2-3 intakes. Sadly not many nations.... Nilson will feature next season and Skogvik could be someone for the future. Sadly no new nations, just 2 players directly from Poland and Germany. Bartrcm
Siena - Season 2021-2022 - Serie C/B Predicted: 18th Final position: 17th We started the season pretty decent, on got 5 point after 3 games. But from then on it went only downwards. We had a terrible season with only 5 wins and a final position of 17th. So we entered the relegation play-offs, and we had to play Imolese. During the regular season we drew both games. First game was the away game, and we played some very good football, and won the game 2-4. Imolese had to won the second leg with at least 3 goals difference, as we finished the season in a better postion than them. But we played one our worst game of the season, and after 67 minutes we were 0-4 down. At that moment I thought my journey at Siena was already ovefr after 1 season. With a lucky goal in the 74th minute we were back in the game. We only needed 1 more goal. Not much happend, and we only had 4 minutes overtime. We pushed everybody forward and in the 95th minute we got a very cheap penalty. All the pressure was on the penaltytaker. This was the outcome. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Serie C cup: Didn't care about the cup, and we got kicked out of this competition at the first hurdle. Youth intake: Our facilities are terrible, so I didn't expect much. I forgot to take a screenshot of the preview the preview, and the actual intake didn't disappoint. We got at least 2 players with potential Damiano Menicagli (YP1a): DR/DC, straight into the first team. Not that he is that good, but because I need him. Damiano Caruso (YP1b): AMR/ST Matteo Certosini (YP1c): DL Transfers: None Finances: Very good
Bartrcm
Siena - Season 2022-2023 - Serie C/B Predicted: 17th Final Position: 13th A much better season. Never been in a relegation battle, and we finished the season in a very nice 13h place with 19 points more than last season. The only change to last season was that I kicked out the older players of the starting 11, and give opportunities to younger (20 - 23 years old) players, and they didn't disappoint. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Serie C cup: again, hadn't any interest in this cup, so failed again on the first hurdle. Youth intake: As the board agreed this season to upgrade some facilities, I had higher hopes for my intake. This was the preview, and it seems that my investments had a positive influence. And the actual intake didn't disappoint. Francesco Giordana (YP2a): AML, unfortunally this is already my strongest position, but I think he will make the first team in a couple of seasons. Giulio Manta (YP2b): A much needed ST. Straight into the starting 11, as my only ST is declining fast and already 36 years old. He scored he first goal. Walter Prioretti (YP2c): GK. Maximiliano Cassia (YP2d): MR, will be retrained as AMR, but I don't think he will become good enough to feature in my first team. Transfers: 1 player left at the start of the season. He din't want to sign a new contract. Finances: A lot worse than last season due to the investments, but still in black.

XaW
Teie IF - Youth intake 2023 Meh, mediocre, but I'll take a goalkeeper though. Well, this was a bit....poor. Lots of 5 star talents, but the actual talent, I'm not so sure. Not much to jump of joy for here. So this is the goalkeeper, and he is not that bad, really. Not amazing, but decent enough for this level. And, then there's this kid. As you might notice the last names are the same as the one above, but they are not related in favoured personnel, and they are born a few months apart, so I guess it's random. But in my game, I decide, and they are brothers, damnit! Also, he is a decent striker and have more than 3 finishing, so he will most likely play. Statistics: Spoiler Got in a Swede and a few Poles, not unsurprising. Also got a Gambian fellow to add Africa to the list!
Bartrcm
Siena - Season 2023-2024 - Serie C/B Predicted: 18th Final Postion: 5th Again we took some nice steps forward, and were almost the complete season in the promotion play-offs. We finished the season in 5th place with h20 points more than last season. The first game in the play-offs was against our rivals Arezzo. A team that I couldn't beat in any of our previous games. We played a very good game and were leading until the scored an equalizer withthe last kick of the game. Again we couldn't win against them but we advance to the next round as we finished higher in the competition. The second round was against another team of our league Zebre (Juve) U23. We were the better team during the regular competition, and this time we won the game with ease 3-0. The third round was against Perugia. A team that we couldn't beat during the regular season. And again they seemed to were to strong. We lost both legs with 1-0 and were out. All in all this was a very good season. Our young striker from last season scored 26 goals in the competition, a lot more than I expected. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Serie C-cup: again out at the first hurdle. Youth intake: Again we upgraded our youth recruitment. The preview was very good, but I was a bit disappointed with the actual intake. A lot of potential, but I hoped for a bit more current ability. Matteo Barghini (YP3a): AML Pietro Pepe (YP3b): MC Stefano Amato (YP3c): DL Simone Bacchi (YP3d): MC Michael Pardini (YP3e): DL During this season we saw the first signs that our youth is getting better as we had 3 youths poached by other teams, first one by Cagliari, a second one by Pisa, and a third one by our rivals Arezzo. I don't think any of those players will be world class players, but I will follow their carreers. Transfers: None Finances: Much better than last year, as I didn't upgrade any facilities
Raffen
I just can't settle on any tactic. I would be happy if I could find some tactic where I at least played somewhat evenly with most teams, but it's just really hit and miss all the time. Either outplayed or fairly comfortable. I think I'm mostly overachieving because we tend to create one or two quality chances, and then win some matches where we really were outplayed. As soon as the opposition throw caution to the wind we concede loads though. I've been 4-1 up, and lost 4-5 in some cases. If I'm meeting teams playing 4-3-3 narrow, I just know we'll lose. holidaysong
FC United of Manchester ; season 2031/32 League Table ; After 8 years in the Conference, I've now had 3 successive promotions. Runner-up in League One (by one goal ahead of 3rd place!) to move up to the Championship. I needed a win (and a good one due to goal difference considerations) going into the last day to be sure of promotion, but I only got a 1-1 draw. That meant I needed both Fleetwood and Rotherham behind me not to win, and thankfully that was the case with both results going my way. Squad ; The players are developing fantastically thanks to the higher standard. I already have 2 full internationals in the squad (both Greek players). Starting 11 ; Rohan Francis was again the main man when it came to scoring goals. Despite him still only being rated VNN/VNS standard by my staff, he is my best poacher with 13 finishing. Transfers ; Moved on a few players that were not making the cut and a few loans. Thankfully the days of losing my best players against my will seem to be over. Youth Candidates ; Probably the worst intake that I've gotten so far. I have kept the first 3 players but the personalities on the first 2 are terrible. Next season expectations ; Fight bravely against relegation in the Championship. :-)

DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2021/22 Rot-Weiss Essen With a mediocre preview, my hopes were not high. Which is just as well, as this group of players are very poor.
thomas_e
Rimini Calcio FC Youth Intake 2023 Last year we had an absolutely dreadful intake, so it was good to see some better talents in this years intake. Considering we are still a weak Serie C team we should expect several 5 star potential players, but this we at least have something to work with!

Cheez3y
Also a big part of this is, I play my wonderkid Rodrigues at CB. Why? Cuz somebody popped off in the U19 And its one of the Iranians boys.
DazRTaylor
I have one game to go with Rot-Weiss Essen...and I am promoted. No idea how and we are in trouble next season as we are nowhere near good enough just yet. But the money is good as even if I finish bottom, I will get £7m. I will write it up tomorrow morning.
XaW
Teie IF Season 2023 review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances A much improved season and even though everyone thought we'd get relegated, we managed to crush the expectations and finish 2nd. Far off the top and promotion, but still a long way off the struggle we had last season almost getting relegated out of the league system. I don't know if it's the players knowing each other better, or if it's the players improving, or just random, or a combination of it, but we just play better. We are still using the same 4-4-2 formation I've used since the start, so I'm not a tactical genius or anything. I'll take it though, another season in this division is what we need currently while getting in better players. I did manage to get improves to our academy coaching and youth recruitment, so I really hope that helps out going forward, and I hope it doesn't cost too much, but being this low level, I think the costs should be worth it. In Norgesmesterskapet we beat Huringen before losing to Eik Tønsberg in the Preliminary final. Youth players of note: Suddenly, my coaches really don't rate him anymore, but his 14 finishing is still enough to make him a regular for us. And he scores a few goals from it, even if his other "contributions" aren't much. Yes, I picked the same two players as last season, but it's simply because they are the ones who contribute most. MacDonald 22i uses his pace down the right wing to create chances and does really well.
Pelz
Finally settle on my 352 set up which after a few games of tweaking shows very promising signs, totally ditch 41212, and within 30 minutes of next game star CB goes off with a hip injury and is ruled out for 5-6 months. Left with only two natural first team CB’sa after another one was ruled out for six weeks after a training injury. Didn’t see that coming.
XaW
Ummm... OK.... I didn't see this as a current issue for us, but it's good, I guess... We don't have much money though, so I hope this is just a long term plan for us.

Tush
FK Inter Bratislava Season 2 - 2022/2023 Slovak First Division - 3rd - EURO Cup II qualify League | Fixtures part 1 / part 2 | Squad / U19 | Transfers | Facilities | Finances League / Cup: I was worried coming into the Slovak First Division because I thought the only matches I would be able to get in some points would be upsets, but thanks to my tactics we managed to be equal opponents most of the time except maybe against top 3 Slovak clubs. We started the season very strongly and even managed to hold the 1st position, although only because the two teams which actually finished season ahead of us were playing fewer league fixtures at the beginning due to European cups. We held around the top anyway though and managed to comfortably secure the 3rd spot, which brings European qualification with it! In just second season with one of my local city clubs! Regarding Slovak Cup, we were once again blessed by drawings against weaker sides until the semi-final. There, like last year, we were drawn against Spartak Trnava, but unlike last season, we managed to get the tie into penalties with heroic 90+1 minute equalizing goal, and we knocked them out in penalties! The final was played against Slovan Bratislava, our local rival and the top slovak club, and they barely let do anything, we only had 2 shots during the whole match. Achieving final though, is great for us anyway! Squad: The young bunch I had at start gets 1 year older and gets more experience, I don't really need to worry about age for now, as only one winger will probably be released next season, and the only other old guy is our goalkeeper, so that is fine for now. Reserve goalkeeper is young and I already have next star goalkeeper in the U19's. Transfers: Two youngsters were sold because clubs wouldn't stop bothering me about them, which caused them to be upset that I declined the other club's offers. As my assistant manager didn't rate their potential highly (around 3 stars), I managed to let them go with 50% transfer fee clause, in case they actually turn up decent and get sold. Finances: Sinking deeper and deeper in the red, we are at negative 0.75mil EUR and took a 2mil loan for new stadium. Next league we make a dip into EURO league so that will at least bring in a small injection of cash hopefully. Notable players: Andrej Duris - a central defender from the intake that happened when I was holidaying the first season but man, he was the top training person for the whole season, always between 9 and 10 training rating and his stats are growing fast! His strength for example went from 6 to 12 in this season! With 201cm height and 91kg weight he is a true pillar in the defence. Youth intake / preview: Good intake and once again the positions excellently fit areas I didn't have good prospects in yet. We also make a dip into foreign waters with two USA/Salvador and French youngsters, both of whom also have potential. 5 Prospects: Jozef Mentel Y23 | Erik Vencel Y23 | Ricardo Alas Y23 | Peter Kolbas Y23 | Sullivan Laurent Y23 Summary: Season Year Division Position Cup Continental License Training Fac Youth Fac Junior Coach Youth Recr Avg attendance 1 2021/2022 SD2 1st Semi-final - National C Below avg Basic Average Fairly basic 520 2 2022/2023 SD1 3rd Final - National B Below avg Basic Average Fairly basic 1610

DazRTaylor
By the way, I have a confession to make. Over the weekend, I got the overwhelming urge to play as a team with transfers. Tush
So guys, what are the order of things you are looking at, when searching for a new HoYD? I have not attempted this challenge for several years but now I will continue and want to get all advantages I can, and from what I've read, the HoYD plays a big role in intake. Are you just looking for best personality and then as high recommended stats as possible?
