FM Whisperer
I know from regular saves that I shouldn't get too excited...but this feels like a promising first season start: Be good just to have a second goalkeeper to be honest. Popular Post Morpheus13
Chengfeng Season Review 27/28 Table - Squad - U23 Squad - U19 Squad - Finances - Transfers WE DID IT! After 7 seasons in the Jia League we finally got promoted with a fantastic season. We started off really well and were finally able to avoid loosing streaks. We actually got really solid players in every position (in comparison to the chinese league) and it shows that especially our 22 and 23 Intake were quite good. Youth Intake The preview looked **** and the intake was aswell. I know who will be fired at the end of the season. Really done with the HoYD! Yan Bo (28A) probably the best of them Our finances are still looking ok, even tho we are finding it hard to sell players. So at the moment we cannot think about upgrading the facilities. I was really hoping that in the Chinese Super League the revenue would be better, but the save from @Flashman\'s School Days looks not promising in terms of that. Next Season Probably a survival season. Luckily we were able to extend the contract of our best player Ren Qisheng (22C). Our other good players alls have contracts for the moment. Ma Peng (22B), Zhao Wenqing (23B), He Sen (23G) and Dong Tinghan (22F). Also another step forward for Huang Yongzhi (23A) and Ma Shuai (23D). Hopefully we will be able to sell some players who dont look to break into the first team Edited March 11, 2021 by Morpheus13

karax268
JS Hercules 2021 Season Report League table | Promotion Group | Fixtures prt1 Fixtures prt2 | Transfers |Finance Things went well in our first season. We were predicted to be fighting in the bottom end of the table but we never even got close to that. Competitions Suomen Cup: The season started with a group stage. 6 teams, 5 games. top 2 would go on to the KO stages. I had no idea how my team could fare and went in blindly. We surprised everyone with topping the group. In the second round we caused an upset by beating top division side FC ILves. the QF was against lower league opposition and not a problem. In the Semi Final our fairy tale start got ended By Inter Turku. They went on to win the Final too. Ykkönen: The League started during the cup run and we brought our good form with us. while the great form dwindled away after the halfway mark we still got results and ended up 2nd behind Ekenäs IF Tammisaari. Promotion Group: Like the cup. 6 teams, 5 matches. Only we got to bring our points of the regular season with us. 5 matches to make up 2 points to the top position? I was confident. That was my mistake. we lost our form as well as 3 of the 5 games, winning 1. We ended up as third, which gave us Home advantage in the playoff QF Playoffs: The team righted its back and got to it. We won the QF and the SF against the nummer 2. Next up was the final against a top division side. winner got a place/could stay in the top division. It was a two legged afair. we opened the score in the first tie away from home ut they came back and won 2-1. In the return we were the better team with the better chances. unfortunately none of them went in. 0-0 Player Performance Topscorer: Pekka Welling. He gave us 14 goals and 6 asists in 33 apearances. Not bad for my DLF Best Overall: Muritala Adeniran This weird 2 pace, 13 acceleration playmaker with 10 vision and passing played brilliantly all season long. Off the field: The board is happy with me and I'm happy with the board. I got my national C licence as well as the National B and am now studying for the National C. They also agreed to increase the Junior coaching and Youth recruitment. The finances are okay-ish. we did need a cash injecture to keep us afloat. A bit disapointing, to be honest. Hopefully those top four can develop quick and well. Edited March 11, 2021 by karax268 added player performance

vikeologist
Vikeologist's 21st Folkestone Intake Report (and 17th Intake Review) Last year I only offered contracts to 4 people, and even that may have been too many. (I’ve just checked, and none of the 4 are beyond all hope yet). It wasn’t a great intake is what I’m saying. This year’s looks much better, and I’ve tagged and offered contracts to 9 of them. There’s no good personalities though. Eden White 21a – A central midfielder, and I guess that’s the position I most need filled. I have 1 good player in that position, and a couple that are supposed to have potential, but have had a few years to develop and really haven’t. There’s probably too much at stake the remainder of this season, but I could see Eden starting next season. However, although I can’t tell much about his personality, I can tell that there’s nothing particularly good there. He is exactly what an underachiever appears as. Robert McStravick 21c (was 21b) / Dave Jackson 21b (was 21c) – 2 strikers and I probably tagged them the wrong way round initially because judging by the relevant attributes, Jackson looks by far the better bet off the bat. However, they’re judged to have the same CA/PA, so perhaps McStravick will turn out to have strengths not immediately apparent. Still Jackson has a good personality and Rob’s is Casual (i.e. awful), so I’m actually going to swap them around from those in the overview screenshot right now. I’ve had the same 2 starting strikers for many years now, with none of the subs posing even the slightest threat to their places, so Jackson will at least make it to the sub’s bench of he improves and scores often for the youth team. YP17 Review Kim Min-Ki 17a – A central defender, and when he arrived I needed one of those. I had such high hopes for him. His star ratings, his personality, his attributes (apart from his low determination) and the fact that first team opportunities were just waiting there for him. I’ve had worse ‘a’ players, but nobody has disappointed as much as Min-Ki. He started 46 matches his first 2 seasons. He was terrible. He didn’t improve at all. In the next 2 intakes I received 3 good central defenders, making him obsolete, but no less disappointing. Neil Norris 17b – I didn’t realise they were the same intake, but Norris is another terrible disappointment. Unlike Min-Ki who all my coaches have now given up on, Norris is still considered to have 5 star potential, but still only 2 star CA. He plays a lot, (and poorly). I mentioned above that I have a couple of supposedly promising central midfielders, but his time is very much running out. Jermaine Starkey 17c – Are you kidding me? I thought that I’d be looking back on a good intake, but he’s currently an overage player in the Under 19s, and I’ve just set him for release this summer. I’m sure I had at least one good player that year. Kevin Spencer 17d – Oh, alright, yeah. Spencer’s a stud. Just lightyears better than any of my other left wingers, which means that I use him too much. Scott Hughes 17h – The other promising central midfielder. He’s supposed to be a right winger, but needs must, and he is better than Norris, (and thus the starter). To be honest, there probably are a lot of players who will have a long career in non-league football from that intake. But I’m not in non-league any more. Spencer’s great though.

keeper#1
Farnborough January 1, 2031 Update Defense is very inconsistent because they just aren't very good for this level. They enter the club as 2* talents and then just don't develop. I've got about a dozen backline players who are all interchangeable as below average Vanarama National defenders that don't improve. Our offense has caught up to our bad defense thanks to Lynch which has pulled up our league standing and goal difference. If we have just an average defense, we are a playoff contender. Six points off the playoff places with one of the worst defenses in the league. Almanac More of the same with our intakes. Good goalkeeping, forwards, and wingers with the spine of the midfield and center backs lacking quality. To show how bad the defensive intakes have been. Joe Baitup 23D is a left-back, Philipp Fitz 22E is a defensive midfielder that I converted into a center back and Rhomie Goddard 24A is a plodding right back who can also play on the left. No one has been able to consistently push them out of the lineup. Stephen Lynch 30D has 32 goals in just 33 appearances and is quickly moving up the goal scoring charts. No changes here. They aren't sexy nations. Reaching the CONCACAF Gold Cup is probably both nation's ceilings but Rhomie Goddard 24A and Bo Joseph 29F are our first senior internationals and Joseph is our first international goal scorer. 2030 World Cup Surprises: None. Disappointments: South Africa and Croatia both crash out in the group stage. Surprises: Belgium's 7-1 rout of Jamaica and England's 8-1 destruction of South Korea. Australia upsetting Denmark 2-0 Best match: USA's 1-1 penalty kick win over Cameroon This game is officially bugged. No way England beats Germany on penalty kicks in the semifinals and then wins the World Cup. Winners: England Runner-up: Uruguay 3rd place: Germany; 3-1 victory over Argentina in the 3rd place game

Popular Post Raffen
Table | Squad | Finances | Transfers We survived again! But it wasn't looking good near the end of the season, when we had a long stretch of poor results. Some decent draws here and there did enough to get us through the season on the right side of the line. There was aa lot of changes to the team this season, as the new intakes have provided players better than the old guard. This meant a really young side, who at times struggled more than their less talented older team mates. In the FA cup we lost to League One Barnsley after a replay. Team performance was poor, fitting with the results. Steffan Goodman 38a the stand out, and probably our best player. Needed to rest him a lot, as he was only 16/17 years old during the season. Our central midfield is still the major weak spot of the team, so really hoping some of the youngsters can develop soon. Retraining a player or two to play central midfield now to boost our chances. Youth preview | Youth intake The youth intake looked fairly good. To decent looking Llewellyns in the intake, Jon 40a and Rhys 40c, not related to me or each other as far as I could tell. We also got a model citizen gk, Jude Bell 40b, who we had to keep. Out former player Duncan Trotter 37a is getting some game time at Aston Villa, hopefully he'll get more and be sold for an absolutely insane amount of money. Youth level was increased to 3 at the end of the season, which means higher expenses. Our finances are a bit dodgy at the moment, so will trim down the squad again this summer. A smaller squad might mean more game time for the right players as well. Fingers crossed for another cup run next season. Flashman\'s School Days
Wuhan Three Towns - Season Review 2033 Manager Profile - Transfers - Fixtures 1 - Fixtures 2 China Super League - 14th Another season of survival, originally I thought it was going to be beyond us due to the first team players leaving (or so I thought), in the end only one actually left us and the others stayed on month to month contracts. We started the season how we ended last season with a pretty rubbish run with only one win against DL Pro in the first 12 games, I was fearing the worst but then out of nowhere we smashed in two 4-0 wins in a row. This was followed a few games later with a 3 game winning run and a goalless draw to the eventual champions before securing safety with 2 games to go and our season fizzled out without even a goal in the final three games. Squad Despite thinking I was going to lose a majority of the first team, we ended up only losing Guo Qi 22h as I had him set for release in order to get our committed spending down so I could offer contracts to others. The rest of them just decided to stay on month to month contracts which I didn't think was going to be an option but I'm quite happy with those turn of events. Yusup-Ali got injured near the halfway point of the season and Gao Sheng 24d took over and played well enough to keep the position full time which is the first time in the save that I've had a regen goalkeeper full time. Zhu Zhigang 24g came in to fill the place of Guo QI 22h and did okay but I'm hoping now with a full season under his belt he'll kick on next season. Liang Xiaodong 28b was the other player to come in and play a good amount of game time, I was forced into this with him playing really well for the U23 team and Zhu Jiarong 22e not playing well at all. Li Weijie 27c was again our top scorer although he didn't play quite as well this season. Youth Intake Another so called golden generation and the top few guys look promising, quite a few unambitious players and not many good personalities. The player picked out by the HOYD was Ma Weizhe 33a Finances The state of the this season's losses don't look too bad as the board pumped in three £550k injections, never before have they injected that much money so I don't know why they have decided to start now. Our sponsorship rose from £550k to £575k which is an almost comical increase. For the third season running we had 1,563 season tickets so I'm thinking that must be some sort of bug but I will give benefit of the doubt to just not having many fans and I can't say we are playing well enough to actually attract many more fans to come down. Maybe a good cup run would be just the answer but one day we'll get there. Next Season Again, survival is key, just try and build the club rep little by little and hope that at some point it pays off because all I want is an upgrade to something.

Popular Post Brentmeister
Season 2 review Heartbreak as we miss out on successive promotions on the last day due to a 75th min equalizer. If only Brazil was decided on goal difference. On reflection, we probably aren't ready for the top division just yet, as we needed a 13 game unbeaten streak at the end just to get us as close as we were. But with the board only asking for us to avoid a relegation battle, this will go down as a successful season. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Performances Our 2 strikers led the scoring charts and 2 of our players made the team of the year. I'm definitely gonna lose the 'keeper next season, he's far too good for me and still only worth 20k, I'm hoping a few European teams come in for him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Youth intake Our preview was pretty good and the intake looked ok too, if a bit early to judge. For some reason, it seems as though Brazillian players take a while to develop and then keep developing well into their 20’s. We signed all but 2. Luiz Gustavo was touted as the most promising. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transfers, finances and miscellaneous Finances are steady, and we managed to get 3 board requests through. A coaching course for me, and an upgrade in both junior recruitment and junior coaching. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think next season we can go one better and gain promotion.

Popular Post Pieyanthikos
2024/2025 review Manager profile | Squad | U19 squad | Youth intake | Table Not a memorable season, but we survived in the 2nd division and got at fine intake, which will help us in the upcoming years. The squad is aging and poorly distributed in the positions, so some of the backup positions will be filled by the fine talents that emerged this year. We had a very difficult time in the autumn with a period of 13 games without a win (12 defeats), but then had a turning point with a narrow victory over Volendam and then a stime of eight games without defeat. Morale was reversed, more players were adjusted to their new positions and a few aging players were benched. I hope for more stability in the coming season.
andershs
Itching to give this challenge another go. I haven't started it properly this year. One question though. This issue with non-contract players transfer listed by the club when you takeover. Is there any way to remove them from the transfer list? I have had a couple of test starts in England, and every time I have lost up to a handful of players because of this. It just makes the challenge quite a lot harder :)
keeper#1
Farnborough 2031 Youth Intake Not a deep class but it does match most of what the HOYD promised: A good goalkeeper (Michael Young), a good forward (Jack Lucero). The surprises were the pair of back line players (Wade Andrews and Jason Charlton). They are much needed for our leaky defense.

filipefm20
Haven't posted here in a while, but already in 2042/2043. Last season ended with 5th place in la liga, cup final and europa league semi final (eliminated against Juventus/Zebre). Here are some key players too:

TheGreatTraveler
Another good preview, fingers crossed the midfield guy is top-class. Very happy that one of the green lines was not wasted on a keeper too

Do the rules for that league prevent you from pinning them down for a long time as soon as they emerge? I usually find a formula where they are committed to the club for at least 4 years. I'm playing in turkey, he stayed on his original youth contract and wouldn't sign a professional contract, I usually try and sign my good players onto a 5 year with 3 year optional when they turn 18, even on the fist contract I usually add a 3 year option but he didn't accept it unfortunately

Ideally with at least one year's optional extension. Don't give them what they want. Give them what they need. (Captivity). One more thing. You might offer a player a full time contract (which will kick in when they're 17 or something) and their demands revert back to a youth contract, but that's probably because you're low-balling them. djsterry
End of season review 29/30 A better season all round 12th place finish is easily my best so far Defence is still a big problem for me and gk my current gk and one cb are untagged so were probably talking L/M on the list got high hopes for nacak, easily the best youngster I have had in the last 3 years only give contracts to 4 players from the intake cm I lost on a free, may not look amazing to some but he is class for the level I'm at atm, gutted For anyone that might have followed my season reports, Demirci was a youngster I was really excited about Its been a rocky ride with him, two years ago he got to he last three days of his contract after refusing to sign for 3 years To my surprise he caved in but this year he has missed training three times due to wanting to move I chucked him in the u19s for a couple of weeks and he signed a new contract and all is well for now he does have a problem with injuries but they tend to be a couple of days at a time and he rarely misses a game happy with my facilities and really happy to have boosted the youth recruitment up so much hopefully this will mean a better standard of player coming through
