Please post any specific issues for Peru competitions here. This is for any issue which does not relate to data and is for areas such as:

- Competition Rules (Leagues and Cups)
- Disciplinary Rules
- Transfer Rules

We would request you all to adhere to the following three point plan when posting in here:

- State what you think is specifically wrong in your league.
- State how you think it should be working.
- State reasons/proof for your corrections/improvements.

Please note that specific data issues for Peru should be posted in the Database and Research Issues forum.

Hello, I just found some errors in "Peruvian Reserves", in the game we have Apertura and Clausura, when in real life we only have 1 overall tournament, instead of 2.

Also, when the Reserve team win the championship, the 1rst team get automatically 2 points in the Overall table.

Hello, on the first point, this is not something that has been pointed out to us by our Head Researcher, so if that is how it is set in game it is very likely to be how it was requested.  If you could provide evidence that the Reserves league does not have an opening and closing stage in real life for the 2021 season and also the situation in future seasons, then we can look into this.  On the second point, I don't understand what you are telling us.  The extra points to the First team for finishing positions in the Reserves league is a deliberate rule and is happening in game.  Hope this helps.

Hi @Sandro28-2003, I´m Giancarlo, Head Researcher of Perú.

Regarding the reserve tournament you are commenting on, the 2019 tournament rules have been maintained because the game begins in the 2021 season, due to the number of teams that are reduced it is likely that the tournament format will once again be Apertura y Clausura and will remain the global table which is finally the same as playing a single tournament.
In the tests that I have carried out of the tournament, the 1st and 2nd place are giving the respective points to their main teams in the accumulated first division table so there are no errors with that.

Thanks for your comments.

Hi! In Peru the rule for how many minutes U20 players need seems to be wrong. From what I understand, the rule is 90 minutes per game. That's 1710 minutes per stage in the 2021 season, 1530 minutes in 2022, then finally 1350 in 2023 when they have reduced the amount of games to 15. However, in the game it's just static at 1710 for every season, meaning that in 2023, you need about 114 minutes per game, which doesn't sound right to me. Could someone confirm this?

Hi! I've encountered another problem. In my save, Cristal beat Melgar in the championship playoff final. Yet, in the overall table, as well as the competition history, Melgar is crowned the champion, and Cristal says runner up.

EDIT: For information, Melgar won the opening stage, and Cristal the closing stage.

This was information we received from our Head Researcher and any information which we have there is based on what was provided to us. If you feel this is wrong, please provide a source and we will look into this.

Could you please upload a save file to the SI Cloud Server using the instructions below? Could you please provide a save file just before the championship match is played that season. Thank you very much.

They haven't set the rules for "bolsa de minutos" (u20 time) for next year yet, but they change it all the time, and I find it very unlikely they'll keep it static when the number of games go down. I assume they'll keep it around 90 minutes per game.

Also, according to different sources, they can count up to 270 minutes per game, instead of 180 like in FM21.

https://rpp.pe/futbol/descentralizado/liga-1-reglamento-cambio-permitira-a-cinco-extranjeros-y-reducira-la-bolsa-de-minutos-noticia-1281665

"dividido en las 19 fechas, daba un promedio de 90' por fecha. Lo máximo que podía sumar un equipo era 270' por partido."

Another issue... In my save, Cristal won both the opening and closing stage in the league, and obviously finished 1st overall. From what I have read, they should have been given the trophy at that point. Instead, the 2nd place team from the overall table won the league in a playoff final.

EDIT: I've uploaded my savegame to the cloud, "Municipal.fm"

Have any of the issues been fixed?

I'm afraid the U20 minutes issue you raised wasn't something we could alter for FM21.  We will reassess this situation with guidance from our head researcher for a future version of FM.

Regarding the issue of the scenario of a playoff being played / not played - this was something that was tested by one of our team and was verified to be working.  If this is not the case in a save game you have created after the update we released in December, then it would be very helpful if you could provide us with such a save game.  Thanks a lot.

HELLO, the rules of the Peruvian league are very different from what it really is, as they must be separated into two groups through a draw, which leads only the champion and runner-up from the previous year.It should be like the soccer coach of 2019 that meets the draw and the leaders of each group. Attached photo of 2019.

Hello, we have a head researcher for Peru and he tells us what to set and we set this.  The changes we made for FM21 were deliberate and requested by the Peru head researcher.
