Simon Tipple 340
Please post any data issues related to England's EFL League One here. As much of the data is subjective we’d ask that you respect everyone’s opinion and accept that the final decision is that of our club researchers and our heads of research. We also request you please adhere to the following three point plan when posting in the data topics: · State what you think is specifically wrong with a particular piece of data. · State what you think the data should be. · State reasons/proof for your suggested corrections/improvements. Please note that any non-data issues for England's EFL League One should be posted in the appropriate thread within the League Specific Issues forum. This would include issues such as league scheduling, league table sorting rules and match rules. Link to post

Dean Gripton 255
Thanks joshey - good to start the thread with a solid data error. Apologies for not getting the training ground. It has been added to the database now and will be included in the Release database. Cannot find any evidence of an U23 squad apart from Brannan's job title. I cannot find any matches played by the U23s this season, for example. If you could provide some evidence of the U23s playing friendlies or in a league, then I'll happily update that. Link to post

I think I or someone may need to reach out to the club? DG - those seem like pre-season friendlies, which do not prove the club has a U23 team that performs during the season. We only include standard (ie window-to-window' loans). It is hard-coded that Rovers move into 'The Quarters' (their name for the Almondsbury Training Centre) on 26th October in-game, mirroring the day they moved in real life. PAFC_Dugout 67
Plymouth Argyle. I know bias comes into it but every year I feel we get hard done by on FM CA/PA ratings, most of our squad is down as having League Two quality when we’ve started really well in League One. Best example of this is Luke Jephcott, scored 7 goals in 14 starts at aged 19 and now aged 20 in league one has 6 goals in 8 games. showing lots of promise as a poacher but game has him as league two standard with potential to be League One player. He’s already proving more than capable at this level at the age of 20 and is a regular Callum for Wales u21’s. As with our 20 year old goalkeeper Mike Cooper. Also believe other players such as Panutche Camara, and Conor Grant are deserving of a few stat boosts but understand this is subjective and opinion. santy001 996
@PAFC_Dugout I've had a quick look at Jephcott, his CA & PA aren't in bad positions. In some circumstances he has a potential that could see him be a lower end PL player. Remember the staff in game are flawed and not perfect judges. It is subjective but if you're wanting to comment on attributes it needs to be bang on point. Which attributes? What should they be? Why? Link to post

Jephcott is rated based on starting 12 games before this season. I've watched him play and train since he was 16 years old and his current ability reflects the fact he can play in League 1 whilst his potential ability as pointed out by @santy001 could potentially reach low end PL ability but is dynamic and could change. His attributes fairly reflect him as of the start of this season in my opinion, he has all the attributes in place that are getting him goals in real life (anticipation and off the ball) with his finishing also being at a good level too. I've seen plenty of players have the form he's had in real life have purple patches and am definitely not going to get carried away by a player riding a wave at the moment. Mike Cooper is rated as the best goalkeeper at the club with a very good potential too. It's worth noting he hadn't started a league game for the club before this season and again is another I've watched train and play since he was 16 years old. Camara - The majority of his profile has been rated on his performances at Crawley. Have you seen him more times than the Crawley researcher has? What do you feel deserves to be increased? Conor Grant - Has received an upgrade since the last game but not sure how he could be considered for a further upgrade personally? What is it about his profile that you feel should be different as personally I do not feel anything can be higher than it is. My overall message is not to get carried away by the form from the beginning of the season, especially when the club is riding a wave. Sheffield United is my prime example where they did unbelievably last year off the back off a very successful few years but the level of ability of their players hasn't changed massively apart from a few. Laming1 1
Lewis Montsma at Lincoln City is arguably labelled wrong as a natural wing back. Arguably deserves an increase in aggression and composure as well as the traits "tries long range passes" and "brings ball out of defence". Link to post

Those changes now made, thanks very much for checking that data and submitting the details here. Much appreciated. Do you have any details on Sloanes and David Jones please? (Mind, those are cosmetic roles in FM) What sort of details would you need for them? Link to post
Dean Gripton 255
Age, date they joined the club, job at the club. The database already has over 20 David Jones', for example! I get he's the Sky Sports guy, but I need to work out which of the 20+ David Jones in the database he is! And then update his biography in it. Link to post
