Chair_
Are the individual, opposition and team instructions for tackling all the same? Ease off, easy and stay on feet. What does this describe? Difficulty threshold for attempting a tackle, percentage of sliding tackles, etc.
Experienced Defender
Tackle harder PI = Get stuck in TI Ease off taclkes PI = Stay on feet TI Default PI = Default TI Keep also in mind that team mentality affects all other instructions, so players will inherently be more aggressive under a higher mentality compared to a lower one. This pertains to both tackling and pressing intensity.

The team instruction says it'll make them perform standing tackles (as opposed to sliding) whereas the individual instruction says they'll be more cautious about tackling altogether and only attempt higher percentage tackles. Which (if either) is true?

Hard tackling/get stuck in encourages players to be more aggressive and assertive when making a tackle. Easy tackling/stay on feet encourages the opposite type of behavior - instead of tackling immediately and aggressively, be patient and make sure the tackle is well-timed. 14 hours ago, Chair_ said: The team instruction says it'll make them perform standing tackles (as opposed to sliding) whereas the individual instruction says they'll be more cautious about tackling altogether and only attempt higher percentage tackles. Which (if either) is true? Both are true and essentially boil down to the same (as I explained above).
