Attracting more fans!!

People just don't want to watch our team 

After 4 successive promotions with Heath Hayes we're in the Vanarama North

We're getting about 140-150 fans per home game, other teams are getting 400-500, Darlington had 2,000 

I take it this is a club rep thing? Is there anything I can do, like sign a big name has-been to get in a few faces or is it a case or waiting it out to rise? Is it worth stalling a promotion to help it catch up?

We need some fans, we're running at a loss each month barring the FA cup months

Didn't think of that!! Heath Hayes is literally a tiny high street

The team will have a default fan base set in the database and that will initially be based on the population and catchment area.  If that is small to start with, it will take a long time for your team reputation to grow and thereafter you may see a rise in crowd numbers, but I suspect that it will not be meteoric.

It's rising, very slowly

In the Vanarama National now & we're at 260-270 a game now but I think a lot of those are away fans, some teams in this league have 4,000 fans 

I might have to chill here for a few seasons & try & wheel n' deal because we're 200k in the hole
