He says he doesn't want to leave and is willing to take a pay cut...blah blah blah. You're not negotiating with the player directly, you're dealing with his agent. I'm guessing it's a bug in the code. Very similar to when a player refuses to renew his contract due to "Interest from other clubs", then throws a hissy fit and wants to know why he's being "forced out of the club" after being transfer listed before his contract runs down. The board has decided for the whole year to put an wage in the budgets. And it seems you passed one of it with other contracts and new players. I think the amount you offer them is too high.
