Welcome to my save, this is one I have decided to do after watching the excellent YouTube series by @doctorbenjy

The Aim

20 years to win the following

Champions League

Europa League - 2019/20 - Roma

Premier League

FA Cup

La Liga

Copa Del Rey

Serie A

Coppa Italia - 2019/20 - Roma

Bundesliga

DFB-Pokal

Ligue 1

Coupe De France

World Cup

Euros

I will be starting off at a team of my choice (I have not decided where yet). I can move whenever I like but I have to win the above titles before the 20 year time limit or at least try.

2019/20 Pre Season

So it was off to Roma I would go. My reasoning behind this move well I dont really have one other than I loved their team back in CM 0102. So it was off to Roma I would go.

They have a decent squad and should not need much help and to be honest with £15mil to spend there is not a lot going that I could bring into the club that would help us.

We had a strong preseason with some fantastic wins along the way. To remain unbeaten is not bad going at all

So first the outs. We sent one defender on loan to Marseille they are paying his wages so I will take that. Pastore goes out to China I didn't really envisage playing him so I thought I would let him go for a decent fee.

Dodo came in from Sampdoria I paid a bit more than I wanted to for him but I needed left back help

Thilo Kehrer - comes in on the cheap from PSG he will be cover at the back but I like him and think he will be a decent enough player for us.

Mirko Maric comes in for a fair price from Croatia, he maybe wont be a first team player but will help with rotation

I was really hoping to bring in some more players but I found it hard with only £15,000,000 to spend and not a lot of players interested. We will see how we get on

Managers Thoughts

The League has not been too bad we could have maybe pulled out another win in one of the drawn games especially as we dominated them. We had a week in the middle where everything seemed to go wrong. A huge defeat against Juventus and a defeat to Standard was not great we are going to have to do better than that. I am not sure what went wrong, as we kept the same team and tactics.

Managers Thoughts

Two wins in Europe get us back into pole position there after our poor start. The League has been decent this month a great win over Fiorentina where we absolutely battered them. To finish the month with two draws was a shame but a point in the derby game is always welcome.

Good luck with the save! 20 years seems like a long time, but that is a lot of trophies to win!

Especially with things like the Euros/World Cup, which only come around every 4 years!

Cheers pal, yeah I think thats the thing with the International Tournaments it does not give us a lot of chances

Managers Thoughts

Not a bad month really, apart from the awful game against Bologna we did ok. We are so far behind the top of the league at this stage its unreal. I am not sure what more we can do as we have no cash to improve . If I am honest I think we need some help up top as we dont really score enough but there is no money to help.

Managers Thoughts

Well its January and that means transfers..... well not for us as we are skint. So no one in and no one out. I could not even get a loan deal over the line as I had no cash. We began the month with a decent draw with Atalanta. I was pleased to progress into the semis of the Coppa Italia, especially as we beat Milan I have now beaten them three times this season. League form was good over than the draw against Genoa. I think the title is too far away for certain but still in the Europa League and also the Coppa Italia so we potentially could knock them off this year but we do have a long way to go.

Managers Thoughts

One player left us this month. Davide Santon has not been playing and to get £7.5mil from Wuhan I thought was a good bit of business. We began the month with a loss against Juventus and a then a bit of a poor draw. Two wins in the league was great news and keeps us above the chasing pack. I think 3rd is possible but the other two are far and away better than us. We got a great win in the cup and hopefully that will be enough to be in the final. We got one of the toughest draws possible in the Europa League and managed to sneak through just. Feyonoord should hopefully be a little easier in the next round.

Managers Thoughts

A great month and one that I am really happy with. In the league we did well only dropping points against our big rivals. It puts us closer to the top of the league and a bit further from those below us. I dont think we are in with a chance of the title but possible Champions League qualification may well happen. We got through to the Coppa Italia final, but we will play Juventus so I am not sure if we will get that cup. In the Europa League a good performance puts into the next round and we will face another English team in Spurs.

Managers Thoughts

What an absolute belter of a month. Won every game which is obviously amazing but to not concede is even better. We move up to 4th which is fantastic for us with some very good wins in the league mainly against Inter Milan. We have also got one foot in the Europa League final with a good result in the semi final 1st leg to all but put us in there. I honestly believe a trophy in season 1 could well be on the cards for us.

2019/20  End Of Season

Managers Thoughts

A fantastic end to the season for us, first of all we knocked off one of the trophies with a superb win over Juventus in the final of the Coppa Italia. We did well to finish off the league and even managed to squeeze into 3rd despite a disappointing loss against Parma. In the Europa League final it was a very very close game but I managed to beat Chelsea, how I have no idea but to knock two trophies off in year one is superb.

Nicolo Zaniolo - amazing for me this year did everything that was asked off him. A superb player who will only get better

Aleksandar Kolarov - the old man of the team, he was fantastic on the left of the defence, I did not know if he still had it and he certainly does.

Lorenzo Pellegrini - bit of an unsung hero for us, does not do anything spectacular but what he does do he does very well. A sneaky favourite of mine.

Next Season

I am not sure, but I think I will be leaving Roma I could stay for a push for Serie A but we have 3mil available for transfers and in my view that is just not enough.

2020/21 Pre Season

I had decided to leave Roma after being given a £3mil transfer budget which was not going to be enough, there was a few jobs available and I had interviews with Hoffenheim, Leicester and Sevilla. I was only offered one job Hoffenheim and I had my new home and a £41mil budget. They finished 11th last year which was not really good enough for the club.

4jabljU.png?1

We had a bit of a mixed pre-season we did not blow any teams away and should have won some more games but they are friendlies and dont really matter.

KohgYzj.png?1

I got busy in the window and all but one deal was done by me on the ins. I got rid of a lot of players who would not fit my system, my aim this year is to get players who fit the system and unlike last year I wont be trying to make people fit in.

Matias Vecino came in from Inter a great midfielder who will be very good

Matheus Fernandes - Barca boy joins on a very cheap deal, will be a first teamer for us

Luis Abram Peruvian centre half, excellent ball playing defender

Mohamed Camara another midfielder will more than likely be a rotation player but he is still decent

I was hoping for another signing or two but we have plenty of cash in the bank so we could keep looking to bringing people into the squad

Managers Thoughts

Very poor, I am not happy about this start at all. We won in the cup which is always nice. Two losses and a draw in the league is not really good enough I was hoping for at least 4 points but maybe 6. I am hoping our form turns around quickly as we will need it to happen.
