Yes the formation.

Somehow I missed this word.

Pretty sure I downloaded it a while ago and have tweaked a few things in the positions depending on players. The main thing from a defensive point of view is the IWB and the CWB, since that normally means the IWB covers the counter attacks. Also the three playmakers work better than tactics I have used before with just CM and Treq's or SS. They just pass it around until the opposition creates a mistake. The Inverted wingers also get a lot of goals, especially if they have some quality in dribbling and a little bit of pace. I have messed around with the striker position, not sure if it came with AF or PF, but PF seems to work better to force mistakes in defence and still gets a tonne of goals. The guy who will have ball most is the DLP, he pretty much is the quarter back in the formation.

As mentioned was a download and have tweaked occassionally, there are about 3 I have that are Christmas Tree formations, so not sure which is which because I tend to rename them when I start at the first job, so I can relate back to what results we got (as opposed to the weird names they have).

EDIT: Narrowed it down to a base of Alvanja Annunaki by Marconni1985 or Terminator v1 Lisa565658. I think it's probably Alvanja, the positions look closer to what I am using.

Another good month and importantly Township Rollers have drawn a couple, which gives us the leadership of the league outright. We did get done in the Botswanan Cup by lower league opposition however on penalties which was a bit of a surprise, but all I care about this season is the league, as we need that to move on, when the time comes and this seems to be a good opportunity to get the job done.

Thanks, looks really interesting.

Great journey so far, keep it up.

After what I felt was a pretty poor draw to Green Lovers, we then went on a run that puts us on the verge of the title. The win against Township Rollers by 5-0 really killed any kind of momentum they could through back at us. They have so many games in hand, but they are so many points behind us that the pressure is all on them to make a fist of this against us. We still have to play them away and they in theory can cut the lead to 3 points, accounting for the caveat that they would have to win all their games in hand, but that would still leave the title race in our hands. We also got through to the Top 8 Cup Final with a win over Miscellaneous, which sets up a double in our first full season in control of Gaborone United.

It is all over, we clinched the title with the win against Township Rollers on their own turf, and that meant they could not catch us anymore. What started off as almost a sacking has developed into a title victory in our first full season and I am delighted to get Botswana's objectives completed as soon as we realistically could. We still have the Top 8 cup final to look forward to and hopefully we can make it a double this season.

The league ends and we managed to complete the unbeaten season with four more wins. Township Rollers, to be honest **** the bed in this month, to finish a long way behind in 3rd place. They did however get a measure of revenge on us with an extra time win in the Top 8 cup to deny us a double this season. But we accomplished what we came for, so now we are pressure free when it comes to achievements in Botswana, with the maiden title secured.

Our African adventure did not last very long as we drew South African powerhouse Ajax Cape Town in the Prelims and they sent us packing. We have played some pre-season friendlies as well and those have gone pretty well. I guess we will be focussing on domestic football again this season.

This month we captured the Botswanan Cup and we are on the brink of another league title. We could have won it against Jwaneng Galaxy, but we had one of our worst defeats as United manager losing 3-0. Still it would take an immense collapse at this stage to deny. A point from the final three games should be enough for us.

We wrapped up the title against Centre Chiefs away, we could not make it three wins in the month, but in the end we won the league quite easily Township Rollers still have a game to play but it will count for little in the grand scheme of things.

This month showed us that no matter the result we are never over the hill and safe in African football. We won the first leg of our Prelim against Nigerian outfit Sunshine Stars 3-0, but they came back in Nigeria and in the end took the tie 11-10 on penalties. Seems we are never going to get a run in the Champions League. We did start the league campaign and won the opener against Police XI.

We dropped some point this month but Township Rollers dropped a fair few more than us, so that is fine with me. We drew with Jwaneng Galaxy, who are a bit of bogey side for us at times. We did beat Prisons XI in the cup to advance to the next round in that competition.

It's only November but the title race already looks like its over. We beat Township in the final fixture of this month to extend our lead at the top to 15 points. I would say they aren't going to get a chance to close that gap enough. We also advanced in Botswana Cup 3rd Round beating Botswana Defence Force.

This really is a no contest at the moment, although we have not had it all our own way as we suffered a shock loss to Young Fighters at home to end a run of 12 games without conceding a goal. We sit 19 points clear in the league. In the Botswanan Cup we got through Township Rollers on penalties to book our semi final berth there, and we also dispatched Centre Chiefs in the Top 8 Cup. Eyeing up a treble at the moment!

Well we drew an old friend in the Champions League Prelims in Petro de Luanda, and unfortunately whilst we did not embarrass ourselves, they were much too strong for us. We have however started the league season off with a nice big win in our final season in Botswana.

We are 20 games into the season and we have a perfect record, we are ten away from something that could never be beaten, although there is still a long way to go. We lead Township by 20 points now in the league and it is a formality as to when we are handed the trophy. In the cup we got past UF Santos to reach the semi final.

We managed to win all our games this month again and it was enough for us to capture the title and it is only January, that is the earliest we have won the title. We now lead Police XI in second place by 24 points. This month we also booked our place in both domestic cup finals. Things could not really be going any better this season.
