Jack199999999
Hey guys, I’m back looking for more advice on my Watford save. In my last 5 games I have conceded in each a goal from a deep free-kick/wide free-kick. It’s an issue I need to solve because it’s costing me points. I was wondering if there was a link to a post discussing how to defend these because basically I’m have no idea what I’m doing with them. I’ve put my setup below. For the wide free-kicks my taller players zonal mark whilst the smaller players are just on go back. Any advice or link to advice would be much appreciated. Also, I do spend a lot of time in training working on them so I think the setup is the issue. Also height, bravery, heading, marking etc isn’t a big weakness in the team selections as I pay a lot of attention to it. Thanks Edited August 6, 2020 by Jack199999999
MRAFTCT
I was exactly the same before I watched that Rashid video mentioned. It makes such a difference. Having someone in the far post area that is decent at heading has stopped me conceding as regularly...still concede but far less often!
