Monday 8th July 2019:

Knockbreda hire Timson. That was the headline on FourFourTwo magazine. The only journalist in the room but that was to be expected in a league ranked 245th. 

"I'm very excited; this is a great club and I can't wait to get stuck in." 

Timson fielded many questions on his first media appearance for his new club. This was all new but Timson was confident he had the ability to be a success in Belfast. However with zero previous experience in coaching and only a short playing career in local Sunday league football would he be successful?

Timson: "Hi Colin, you wanted to see me?"

Colin: "Yes, Thomas, sit down. We have expectations to discuss. We are looking to remain in the Bluefin Sport Championship this season. Last season we finished 10th so we will need a repeat of that feat to avoid being sucked into a relegation playoff, can you handle that?"

Timson: "I don't see why not." 

Colin: "Good. We also want to reach the Fifth Round in the Northern Irish Cup and be competitive in the other two cups. Failure to meet one or all of these expectations could make your position untenable, understand?"

Timson: "Got it boss."

Colin: "Good. Now off you go, you have an intra-squad friendly to prepare for."
