Motlhen
The current Kitchee manager has stormed onto the HoF & another two seasons of dominance could see Chan Man Fai top of the pile. They/he must be stopped!
Motlhen
I've gone for a fresh look with the TCS Skin. Jun - Aug 2027 It's been a busy summer! I've signed a new £700p/w deal & added the following players to the squad: As we were last year, we are predicted to finish 7th. This is how we lined up for gameweek 1. & we continued good pre-season form into the first competitive game. Kitchee with a statement 4-0 win against last year's 4th place finishers HK Pegasus. Yim Cheuk Man is just one of a few highly rated prospects at the club, including gameweek 1's goal scorer. Edited August 29, 2020 by Motlhen
Motlhen
September 2027 A narrow loss to Kitchee in a game they should have won by much more followed by a loss in a game we should have won. The 5-0 win, I'm hoping, is a sign of what's to come.
Motlhen
October 2027 The board are happy to keep us afloat. We took a while to make the Rangers win a comfortable win. Millward with 2 goals & 2 assists! Then, former Fuli player, Zheng Yuanchao got the equaliser against his old side Fuli before we pushed on to win to make the semi-finals. Fuli knocked out Kitchee in the round before this, which we weren't part of. This is definitely a winnable competition with their absence. To round off the month, we lost out to a good HK Pegasus side. Still far from consistent. Newly promoted Lee Man have continued an incredible run to be joint top with Kitchee. We're lurking behind the top 4. Our GF & GA tell the story of the season so far: Massive wins & tight losses. Motlhen
Nov - Dec 2027 We've been rubbish in the league & are way too close to relegation for comfort at the halfway stage of the season (although we do have a game in hand). The one major plus is that we're into the Senior Shield final!
Motlhen
Jan 2028 With the finances in a much healthier position & the club under-performing, I brought in 3 faces to improve the squad. They joined after the mad 4-4 draw with Happy Valley but were not eligible for the Sapling Cup or for the upcoming final! Previous Hougang player, Jayaraj. Nyaring, a Bruneian veteran goalkeeper. & the best player at the club by some way, fresh through the academy at Aston Villa, Kostorz. Youth intake preview is never pretty, but our academy has produced quite a few gems in between the dead wood. & we will lose Wen Chaofei, who's been ever present but ultimately wanted more wages than I was prepared to counter offer. Motlhen
This formation got us into extra time, but we couldn't make the effort count.
Motlhen
Feb 2028 An almost perfect month. Kitchee still sit in a league of their own. The 3-3 with Rangers was an epic. 1-1 in normal time, then they went 3-1 up aet before two goals in a minute leveled things up for us to take the win on penalties! Kitchee rubbing in the defeat by breaking their own record with us. Edited September 3, 2020 by Motlhen
Motlhen
Mar 2028 We haven't dropped points in the league this year.. except to Kitchee. We're pushing for continental qualification. Next up is the FA Cup semi final.
Motlhen
Apr 2028 Another empty handed season. Kitchee have already been crowned champions as the league is sorted on head-to-head records. Looking at the overall Head-to-Head records for us vs Kitchee: The highlighted rows are when I was in charge. 1 win in 15!
Motlhen
Apr 2028 continued.. A very poor crop this season.
Motlhen
I've added in player faces to increase the immersion. May 2028 We came close, much closer than I ever thought we would this season. A bunch of youngsters stormed the awards, boding well for the future. Unfortunately, Chi Wai won't sign a new contract, so will likely not be part of next season's squad. Edited September 5, 2020 by Motlhen
Motlhen
6 teenagers with over 10 appearances last season as we build around the top youth prospects coming through.
Motlhen
Jun - Aug 2028 I'm still not in the HK Hall of Fame Top 10 after two trophy-less seasons. Chan Man Fai slowed his roll slightly this year, but could start to extend my mission to become top in HK very soon. Kitchee must be stopped! Transfers Out Wu Zincheng was a massive part of our first full & title-winning season here at Resources Capital. He moved back to China two seasons ago and is now about to be relegated from their 2nd tier. Unfortunately, there's no way we can afford to bring him back to the club with that value & wage! And another previously key player leaves at the end of this season for the lower leagues of China. Chun Yin wouldn't agree to discuss terms & left on a free. He's now been picked up by Eastern for a wage we definitely could have afforded. Yuanchao loses out on the foreign player limit rule, so he's shipped off to Tai Po who were happy to pay 90% of his wages. Transfers In Didi joins us on loan from Palmeiras in Brazil. He'll be a huge success I'm sure as he is the best player stats-wise that I've managed so far. Lik Hang comes in as our main centre back in what turned out to be a player switch with Eastern. Wai Shing comes in from Kitchee as a replacement left back. & Lai Fung sures up our defense massively too. We are ready for the new season! Motlhen
Aug 2028 continued A brilliant pre-season & our first competitive opponents allowed us to continue our winning ways with ease. Familiar faces on the scoresheet! Kitchee smashed last season's 3rd place finishers 4-0 to give the league table a familiar look after gameweek 1. Motlhen
September 2028 A mixed month. A draw in our second competitive fixture is only our 2nd match in the last 34 that has ended with a point each. We didn't have to wait as long for another. Both in games we should have won. The biggest disappointment was losing out to Kitchee in the Senior Shield. We fought long and hard but they eventually got a 115th min. I've added a couple of gifs of what the intensity of highlights were like. Our first ever league club hattrick was followed by an extra goal as Didi becomes an instant record breaker (& legend!) In the Kitchee game, we spent most of the match camped in our own box, whilst they spread round it. 25d2ba07b533575ce4df2a4b74b2bdc2.mp4

I think it's something to do with the graphics on my laptop as pretty much everything blipped. I got this message too so I'm looking into what to do to fix: A restart has sorted everything else out, just got to play two games again- which I probably would've been more mad about if we had actually been doing well haha Edited September 6, 2020 by Motlhen
Motlhen
September 2028 (in a parallel universe) We beat HK Pegasus this time round & Kitchee remain in touching distance. We face them next, this time top spot is up for grabs!! On deadline day I decided to see if there was anyone in the loan market that could improve our squad in order to keep up with Kitchee. Unfortunately for us, the only player that fit the bill was a youngster from Kitchee themselves. Criado Mario joins. Hopefully we can win him over and make his stay a permanent one further down the line.
Motlhen
Oct - Dec 2028 It's been an eventful season so far! Kitchee are 5 points ahead if we win our game in hand. We're out of another competition at the first round :/ For the Premier League Wing Yee match I decided to switch things up a bit more than the usual tweaks. I ended up with this starting formation: & it allowed us to overload in the central areas, but the chances were falling to the advancing wing backs on the opposite wing to the build up play. For all our possession, we ended up going 1-0 down to a breakaway counter attack. So as a master stroke last resort, I switched the strikers & wing backs. And sure enough, the strikers, now playing at wing back, both got on the scoresheet to turn it around for us!!! (Albeit Didi was subbed off for the second goalscorer Cheuk Man) Whilst renewing contracts I stumbled upon a clause I most certainly did not put in to the deal myself. An optional future fee of £0!? He's asking for mega wages at the moment, but let's see if we can work out how to make his stay permanent. I decided a while ago that I would only venture into International management when I have managed in that country previously at club level, meaning only two options have been available. It'll eventually also act as the signal to remove that countries leagues from the save, once my time as international manager is over.
Motlhen
I'm a little bit bitter about this one, especially considering the new managers lack of achievements!
Motlhen
I'm also a bit bitter about the way we went out of the Sapling Cup. In the dying seconds, we had this glorious chance go begging (not just us hitting the post): Sorry for the terrible quality 6f7969b06a7ce616a7654cd9077b6f92.mp4

Motlhen
January 2029 We'll play Buriram Utd in the Asian Cup, a team I own a jersey from some time spent in Thailand a couple of years ago. It is Supat's favourite team! The league is pretty much beyond doubt with 7 to play. The FA Cup is up next & our only chance of silverware this season (unless you count a low outside chance of winning the ACL).
Motlhen
February 2029 A horrible month, but an incredible turnaround in the 2nd leg and we're into the Asian Cup Group Stage! The first leg we let slip away from us & similarly against Southern District A worrying trend.. And for our success, we'll have to face bitter domestic rivals Kitchee for a single qualification spot in a tough group.
Motlhen
Just completely ballsed up! We had a long gap in between matches (I didn't notice as I'm using continued game timeout every 5s) and I didn't check the squad being used for our early U18 match! So this is the squad and set up we've had to revert to for our Home match against Kitchee in the Asian Cup (of all games!?) Pray for us.
