U18 Physio / Scientist effect on Newgens

Having recently been reading through various threads and learning (correct me if I'm wrong) that U18 coaches Judging Player Potential and Working With Youngsters attributes can effect newgen CA's, I'm wondering about the effect of the physios and sports scientists can have on newgens.

I wonder if it's possible if the quality of the U18 medical team can influence the hidden injury proneness attribute of newgens when they are generated, or are they merely there to help youngsters avoid / rehab after injury?

Historically I've always tried to fill my U18 staff with positive personalities and high WWY attribute, and pretty much ignored the medical side of things, but now I've started paying more attention to JPP and wonder if I should focus more on the medical team too?

I know it's hard to quantify the direct effects of certain things due to the many variants involved in the game, but I was curious if anybody has any views they'd like to share on their youth team staff approach? Is there evidence of the medical team effecting newgen attributes? And who knows, if we're lucky we might get official insider SI information tid bits.

I'm correcting you, only Head of youth departament can affect newgen's ca/pa (but only in really really rare cases, with freak newgens). Facilities level, youth coaching level and youth recruitment level affects ca/pa of newgens.

This post by Seb suggests that staff can have an effect, it's just your HOYD will have double the effect. Two posts further down, he also states WWY and JPP of your youth staff will effect PA.

fair enough, but concentrate on the things I've written because these are the most important.

Yes, coaches can have a small effect on the rare "star" or "freak" newgens when it comes to CA/PA. I'm not sure I've ever had one of those, based on his description in the thread. 

I understand this opens up for all kinds of speculation about other stuff members, but SI have never indicated anything like that, and the question has been asked several times. 

One of the answers is in the thread you linked:

Why is that?  Is there something that says staff personalities has a positive impact on the U18 squad players?

I see what you mean, and that's why I ask..... but is there anything anywhere that suggests that staff personalities actually has any effect on players?

I've got a thread running on the main board about exactly this - responses are mixed so far - there's very little about it on the boards here when I searched (when I found your comment)

In my teams there is no fickle or balanced personalities. 

Only Model Citizens, Model Professionals, Professionals and Fairly Professionals. Sometimes, I am not worry is has lower attributes, because staff has CA and PA.
