One Black Atheist
If SI doesn’t include wage, transfer fee and prize money inflation, I shan’t purchase future versions of FM. 16 seasons into FM19 my wage budget was still set to £5.5 million per week and I can never sell players for much more than 90 million. Champions Cup wins are still only rewarded with £2.4 million and my club is experiencing major debt. Every few years, improved TV deals should boost league revenue. Clubs should acquire better sponsorship deals related to success. Player agents should negotiate higher wages for their clients at each contact renewal. One player remained on the same wages from age 20, until his retirement. Can you at SI provide an honest reason for not including in-game inflation? barrenjoey14
Strange post. My game shows inflation very well. I get rather annoyed when my 18 year old striker is sitting on a wage of £5k a week, but just because he's had a fantastic season, he expects me to part with £120k a week from my budget!! And my wage budget has increased steadily year on year, going from £1,800,000 per week to £3,240,000 after 5 seasons.
