Unable to edit multiple competitions or merge. Idiots guide required :)

I want to change the prize money and TV money in multiple leagues and the continental competitions but as I move from one league to another I lose any adjustments I'd made to the previous league. For example I started with the English Premier League, tested and saved my changes and then attempted to do the same with the Italian Serie A. But once I'd made the changes, tested and saved, the Premier league alterations had gone. I tried saving them separately and then merging them but had no joy. If there is a guide somewhere that someone could post a link to that would be great. Also could someone help with Champions league money alterations please? I tried to assign a nation to the competition and then load the leagues and cups from that nation but it didn't work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't need to make changes to multiple leagues in 1 file. In fact I would advise that you don't do that. As long as you're not adding stuff to the database it's much easier to just create various advanced rules files with each league's changes.

As for editing the Champions League: are you working in the advanced rules? Changing the competition nationality should work.

Are you doing this in the "same file"?

You need two different files for each rule changes.

As for your examples:

a) Click "Add Nation Rules" then select England, for EPL do your changes, save the data with the file EPL (as example, you can name as you want.); verify (in the editor); save again (no matter if the rules are in basic or advance); test (in the editor or in the game).  If you need to make some changes, repeat the save-verify-save steps.  If everything is going as you want, then pass to b.

b) Click "Load Database" (this will clear your changes if you have still open the editor); or Open the Editor (if you closed the Editor)

c) Click "Add Nation Rules" and select your next nation, o your changes, save the data with the file "anothername" (as example, you can name as you want.); verify (in the editor); save again (no matter if the rules are in basic or advance); test (in the editor or in the game).  If you need to make some changes, repeat the save-verify-save steps.  If everything is going as you want then pass to d.

d) If you are finished with all your nations then open the game, load all your nations and enjoy.  If not, go back to step b.

Nice one. Thank you :)
