Determined, but not great, all things considered. We don't use a defensive midfielder at all in our system, plus he's extremely slow. He's slow, and bad at everything a midfielder should be able to do. He's determined though. Decent goalkeeper, but I was hoping for better. July 2027 Results Strong showing in this month, mostly friendlies, but our first league match was a 4-0 stomping of Blackburn, with 3 goals from 2 of our new signings. We're in first, but I don't think it'll last. It's only the first month of the season, after all. It's always good to start off a season with a big win, though. I know I was expecting us to improve maybe by a bit next season, but going from 8th to 2nd from 1 season to another, is just WOW. xray1324 Posted July 7, 2020 Author Share Posted July 7, 2020 New Signing While this guy may look like he is a forward, he is a player that will spend most of his time as a right-back, to replace Robbie Mckenzie as Joyce's backup. Mckenzie won't be leaving, he'll just be serving as a backup option in midfield now which should give him more playtime overall. Otherwise, we're pretty well-stocked in all areas. I bought this guy to try to ease some concerns amongst the squad that we were lacking on forward options. Sure, with Josh Jones leaving out of my control, we might be a little, but we have never had any major issues thus far with our striker situation. He was signed from Barnsley for 275k. January 2028 A very bumpy month, seeing us get through to the FA Cup 4th Round, and get 2 league draws, 2 league wins and 1 league loss. We kept 5th, too.
