Lack of Gk yel/red cards and in match inj

Second 10 year+ save on this years fm and i've not seen any keeper get a card or even a knock in a match, had one inj in training though.

Are they extremely rare this time or am i just really lucky? If i'm lucky then i might star putting a keeper on the bench as my luck will no doubt end

I dont think that I have seen a GK get a card on this or several of the previous versions, so it is perhaps not as obvious as it should be in the game.  I have had a GK in game injury in FM 20, but again, it is very rare.

Definitely facets that are under-represented in the game, and have been since basically forever.

I'm another who cant recall seeing a GK ever get a card, concede a penalty, etc.

As for injuries, training ones definitely occur on a regular basis. In game injuries are rare - very occasionally have seen a keeper pull up with a minor knock when kicking a ball (I cant say for definite, but iirc mostly this happens in pre-season games in my experience). Collision injuries I don't think I have ever seen.

Using the scout search filter I found a number of GK with multiple yellow cards and at most 2 red cards so it does happen at least. They're usually very, very dirty.

Unless something has changed recently, I don't think keepers can commit penalties. Possibly because collision is turned off for them inside the penalty area, which also means less injuries, though I have seen keeper injuries occationally.

I think the keepers getting cards will be either from handling outside the area or straight up off the ball violent conduct.
