Learning PPMs

Recommended Posts

I have quite a large proportion of players (first team and u19) who are failing to learn ppms.

The coaches tend to think that the suggestions are good ideas. And there's not many that don't make sense. Its not like I'm asking my keeper to try killer balls or anything daft like that.

What governs whether they'll be successful or not? Is there anything I can do to increase the likely hood that they'll learn them?

Yet another question for Mr. @Seb Wassell (I guess)

Generally, younger players with greater Versatility will find it easier to learn Traits.

Depending on the trait there are then some specific attributes and positions that will make the player more suited to learning that specific trait. The better the player is at these the easier it is to learn the trait. For example, Tries Killer Balls requires the player to be a midfielder and benefits from high Vision (amongst other attributes). To get an indication of these desirable attributes, consider what the trait is attempting to achieve (eg. Knocks Ball Past Opponent suits a player with high Acceleration but low Dribbling). Pay attention to what your staff say during the interaction for further insight.
