Agent Wars [FM20 Sign Up]

Recommended Posts

Evening all,

Welcome to Agent Wars - where you choose a player for your 'stable' and through inspirational 'chats' you can either improve your player or get in the 'ear' of another.

Below is a list of players that are in Rotherham Uniteds U18 side, your jobs is to pick one then follow the rules underneath the image.

image.thumb.png.0328d940bba0d8ddb384410f2ea679bc.png

Name your 'agency' and pick a player - first come, first served - below is an example of how to sign up...Mataar Jallow is available.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agency Name : Millermen

Player Name: Matarr Jallow

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will then post an image of the players stats - these are important for everyone - because you either increase your own players stats or sabotage any other player you want - after all this is agent wars.

The game will then be holidayed a week and based on games played you will gain points based on the reputation of the competition.

Friendlies are 10 points an appearance, U18 Youth Alliance League North-East games 24 and I will advise as and when players play for the U23 team and first team etc.

You then spend these points to change a stat - to change a stat its simple - if your player had passing at 3, then it would be 4 points to move to 4, then 5 points to 5...so 9 in total...

or

You might want to stitch a fellow agent over and increase say a players aggression from 8 to 10, which would cost you 9+10 so 19 in total.

You get the drift?

Year 1 its 100% of points. Year 2 its all points divided by 2, Year 3 all points divided by 3 etc.

The agent who has the most points after 365 days will choice the club where the next lot of players are picked from.

The aim of the game??? Who knows, do you want an agency that has players that play lots and stay loyal, or dirty tricks and gain as much money as possible.

Oh by the way, you earn 10% of the players wages - so maybe developing players may be the way to go....or stitch players over so they don't earn....its your choice, all youth players start on £120 a week.

Once I update, there will be a minimum of 6 hours for people to advise on stats changes after that I will move the game on - you don't lose your points they role over until you log on and use them...or not.

I will be using FMRTE with the freeze option ticked so the inbuilt CA and PA wont revert the changes back.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing who play by the rules or are sneaky 'normal' agents :-)

In game date: 26.Aug.2019 a really busy week for Jake started off with a starting place in the U23 Division 4 North-East 3-0 away win at Blundell Park, 422 fans saw Jake play for 74 minutes and pick up a yellow card. An U23 friendy also saw Jake start, 426 fans were at The Shay to see the Millers lose 2-1 in a friendly.

A stonking week of football means a whopping 63 points can be used, its already looking like Jake will get plenty of youth and reserve team football - the question however is will he break into the 1st team at all?

On 31/05/2020 at 18:12, David Corperial said:

Anticipation up 2 to 6 and Vision up 2 to 7.

Sorry was just moving the game date forward - been a massive increase to your boy - here goes.

In game date: 30.Sept.2019 - after a couple of weeks of no football, it was back and young Jake was playing in every game he could! He also got that first goal!

Jake hit the winner in a U23 league game at home to Walsall, 232 people saw the young man score at the AESSEAL New York Stadium! He also played 40 minutes in a 3-0 U23 friendly away at Bath City, 431 fans were at Twerton Park.

A couple of games the for the U18s too, starting off with a 3-1 away defeat against Tranmere in the Youth Alliance Cup Group match, 154 fans were at Prenton Park, the U18s did get back to winning ways though with a 2-1 home win in front of 16 fans - West Street was the location for the league game away at Scunthorpe.

111 coaching points can be used now, and the changed to Anticipation and Vision have not been made as I was forwarding the game when you posted @David Corperial

With the first quarter of the season all done and dusted it's time for me to ask for new agents to come along and join the fun. The players available are still showing in the original post - its a slow burner but once your youth makes it pro, its very rewarding.

In game date: 07.Oct.2019 a cracking week results wise at youth level for Jake and the team, starting off with a 2-1 away win at Scunthorpe, 16 fans turned out to watch the U18 league game at West Street. The young millers followed that up with a 2-0 home alliance cup group game against the same opposition. 222 fans packed into the Roundwood Sports Complex to cheer the young Millers on to victory. Jake started both games to continue his impressive youth and reserve team appearances.

48 points to spend, 18 games started and 1 as sub since the start of the season - developing really well and this is only year 1. If Jake stays injury free, he's easily going to feature in around 35 to 40 games and should push himself up into the reserve team and maybe the odd 1st team bench appearance come the last month of the season.
