After my laptop went and died, my bari Save is lost...So decided to start a different type of career...

Starting in the Caribbean Nation of Curacao...

First Job in management will be Jong Holland(Cur), a side who last won the Sekshon Pagá in 2018 after a 20 year drought...

Hoping to guide them to a league title within 2 years of management...

1st Stage of Season...18 League games, no cups in this Curacao File tho(No national or continental competitions)

Started Season off strong, with 4 consecutive clean sheets and scoring 23 goals. But finished with a bit of stumble losing 3 games, 2 of which were at home...

Championship Rounds

2nd Stage

Started off with 1-1 against RKSV Centro Dominguito, but it was the only blip winning the next 4 games to progress into the the 3rd Stage

3rd Stage

Started stage 3, with another draw, after going 18 games with a draw, drawing 2 in the space of 6 games was uncharacteristic, and failing to score for only the second time in the season. But still topped the group and made it to the final on the first attempt.

Despite falling behind after 8 minutes, we scored 2 in 2 minutes to take the lead...but were begged back within 3 minutes. Game finished 2-2 and went to Extra-Time...Our task was made a little easier when goalscorer Max Ciarnello went off injured in stoppage time of the 1st half of Extra-Time...Step up Gersinio Contancia with a goal worthy of winning any game...To give Jong Holland the lead 3-2, and that was it...Victory

Just got hit with news, that i'll be without my 1st choice Keeper & Left Full due to Gold Cup Commitments...

1b216dc6b9731bc965abf0fd2fa5a024.png

That puts them out of the entire 3rd Stage of the league...

So I have had to rush in a keeper, as the current backup is pretty dreadful...

Welcome our new keeper, all the way from cold Denmark...Jonas Andersen

The squad is very light at full back and in the centre of the park, also without a couple of guys through injury who probably would feature only for injury

Went 1-0 down despite absolutely dominating, Haiti attacker just rang straight through my defense, dreadful attempt at defence. Equalized via the penalty spot. Haiti also are now down to 10 men after Bryan Alceus picked up 2 yellows in the first half...We created 2 CCC & 2 Half Chances in the first half.

Full Time

b57b8f0fd64db46be26a6c1a7eb54f06.png

Says it all, how didn't we win more comfortably, it took an 80th minute goal to take the lead...Thanks to Lucas Cavallini who scored both our goals today...Also capped youngster Alen Topalovic, who got 3 minutes on the pitch. Junior Holiett picked up an injury and could be out of the return leg.

1st Half

Left back lunges in, penalty...absolute brain fart...Haiti take the lead from the spot

 8ca8c8e5b6f8700d6f86d1a23f5c7b49.png

Go into the break trailing, but still ahead due to the Away Goals rule...

2nd Half

Waiting until the hour mark before making a substitution, bring on Scott Arfield for Osorio...

45209e980b2594bca4e64ded4a36a9ad.png

Didn't take Scott too long before making an impact (7 minutes in fact)...1-1 and again Arfield grabs his second to make it 2-1 to the hosts...

e88b2d0d1dfcf2d526bc73eb6233680d.png

Within 2 minutes, we surrender the lead...But thankfully we hold out and progress

d5a6722a6bb9d4dedc950bf3271ab51d.png

Zero problem creating chances, converting them on the other hand is an issue as too is the flaky defenders i have available to me...

Over both games we created 4 CCC, 7 Half Chances & 3 Hit Woodwork...Total of 30 shots on target too...

Warm Up Games

Far from ideal...that's for sure

1ff2de41c935884c9590e9b4ad78d268.png

Really not a fair reflection on our performance...We also had a goal ruled out 10 minutes before Albania made in 2-1...again poor finishing

3f2c564257a12c60488444b7ce107bc1.png

Happy considering we played 55 minutes with 10 men, thanks to Cavallini's two footed challenge...Red Card all day long...

Not the best preparation for Columbia in our opening game

Germany losing their opening game really turned the group on its head...If Germany lose against Canada they will be on the Plane home, a draw keeps them alive...

Half Time

e694283e6d47629d926aa74c4d000511.png

Germany dominating the game, creating plenty of chances, we just can't get an attacking move together, once we get into the final third, the German defence just wins back the ball

Second Half

We started the second half with a chance of system...hoping to offer a bit more in the final third

Went from (4-1-2-3 DM) to (4-2-3-1 Wide)

Just a few Friendlies between the World Cup & The Gold Cup...

Didn't get off to the best start...But certainly better run of results going into The Gold Cup compared to The World Cup...

1c98c67f6c4b6557937531deee2774de.png

James Pantemis looks to have overtaken Milan Borjan for the number 1 spot going into The Gold Cup...Pantemis kept 3 clean sheets in his first 4 games and is playing a little better at club level too...Also his 9 years younger than Milan...Also an element of looking to the next World Cup too
