Warg92
End of the 2031 Season Last year we finished as number four when normal league games ended, scoring 46 goals and conceding 47, this year was very similar, with 47 goals scored and 47 conceded. We had one point less this season though. We played some amazing games this year, especially the 6-0 win and the 7-1 win. But in the Champions Playoff we did better than last year, and ended up with one more point. That is really all I can ask for, us getting better and better. But this was the achievement of the season! We won the Lithuanian Cup, and that means we're qualified for ECII next season! Best of all, we beat the favourites along the way, Zalgiris and Suduva. It was the first time ever we beat Suduva in this game. It was a fair result in my opinion, even though Riteriai should have scored once. Mantas Gasiunas scored a beauty! PoTS Another great season for Mantas Gasiunas. It looks like he is close to his potential. Hopefully he has bit more in him! Warg92
Pre Season 2032 A lot friendly games this pre season. We lost only one, and that was against last years league winners. The top teams are spending more and more money on players, and the gap to the top teams should get bigger and bigger. Hopefully thats only on paper. Squad I have seriously pissed of Modestas Klimavicius for some reason, and he might leave us before the season. That will be a huge loss if it happens. Warg92
Mid Season 2032 At the midway point of the season we're fifth, with two more point than we had at this stage last season. There have been quite a few of the games we have drawn that could have gone our way, but our defence has not been at their best at the start of the season. Best player so far has to be Aidas Baranauskas (YP12f), our new star of the team. We have had some very big offers come in for him, and I'm surprised that the board decided not to take charge of the decision. I should maybe have agreed to this, but I really want to keep him. Youth Intake Preview That is the most green I've seen in a few years, hopefully it is a good thing!
Warg92
So, we have just finished our first game ever in the ECII, and Aidas Baranauskas (YP12f) decided to start of us of with a decent strike. And btw, anyone seen this bug before? Every single game one or two of my players have different colours on their kit. *EDIT* The game crashed five days after this game, and I lost this, and a few other games, so this beauty of a goal is gone I have played up to the point of the crash again, and now I got through without a crash. Warg92
Gariunai In Europe! So, for the first time ever, we had a chance to play in the ECII, and for the first trip ever out of Lithuania we traveled to Kazakhstan, to face FK Kairat Almaty. I had no idea how the team we faced were, but I thought we would be stronger than them. And we had no problems beating them. We should have scored a lot more goals in both games. Next up, Hibernian from Scotland. A team I thought we would struggle with, as their players looked better than mine. But this happened, and we won both games. The first game we were amazing! The second game was a bit closer, but in the end we deserved to win that one as well. On to TSV Hartberg (Turn- und Sportverein Hartberg), a team fron Austria. Very similar to Hibernian in terms of quality, so it should be easy. Right? Easy might not be the words I would use, but we made it! We were lucky not to concede more goals in the first game. But in the second game we should not have conceded any goals, as their shots were from long range. But it does not matter, we're in to the group stages of the ECII on the first try! I think third might be a possibility! Atlantas joins us in to group stages. This is the first time ever two teams from Lithuania have qualified to the groups. Zalgiris have done it three times, and Suduva once in this save. They finished bottom of the table every single time. And most importantly: We're no longer in the red! Warg92
This is what I get for resting players for the ECII games... This is our biggest defeat EVER... Absolutely disgusting... Warg92
Youth Intake 2032 This is great youth intake at this stage of the save! Two players with 2.5* CA is more than I could have hoped for. One of them is a AMC, a place I really need a new player after this season, because Modestas Klimavicius (YP06d) has already decided to join Zalgiris on a free transfer. When he is gone, Tomas Stankevicius (YP14f) will be our best AMC! Other than that we get a good AMR, and an influx of other nationalities as well. Brilliant! Our first Brazilian ever. He looks like a very good talent, and I'm a bit surprised that the HoYD doesnt rate him higher.
Warg92
End of the 2032 Season We ended the normal league with 46 points, more than we have ever had. I am still annoyed with that 0-7 defeat against Riteriai though. We did better in the Champions Playoff as well, and ended up in the third position, a new high for us! This means that we're qualified for the ECII next season as well! Because we won the Lithuanian Cup last year we faced the winner of the league in a Super Cup. We won that game, and got more silverware to put in the trophy cabinet! Atlantas beat us in the 5th round of the cup however, and knocked us out. Robertas Paulauskas (YP08j) finished the season on 50 games! Mantas Gasiunas (YP07b) wins the PoTS award yet again. It was a bit closer this year, with Modestas Klimavicius (YP06d) right behind. Enzo_Francescoli
What tactics are you using? Have you changed it over the course of the save to accomodate your best players? Do you do game-to-game adjustements based on who you face? I have just started a youth challenge with Sedan (French 4th tier), so I'm following this with great interest. I have just started a youth challenge with Sedan (French 4th tier), so I'm following this with great interest. This is the one I started the save with, now I use almost identical 4-4-1-1, the only difference is that on of the striker is changed to a AMC with a Shadow Striker role. This is actually a FM19 tactic, that I have used in every save I've had so far in FM20 (almost every FM19 save as well). The tactic file (.fmf) is the same in the FM19 game and the FM20 game, so I just had to move it from one folder to another. I don't change anything about it, I'm a little to stubborn to change something if it works. And that is both a good thing and a bad thing. Mainly a bad thing to be honest. Thank you for following this thread, and good luck with your save!
Warg92
Gariunai In Europe We started the group stage badly with two defeats in two games. After that we turned up, and won three out of four games. The big one was the last game against FC Nordsjælland, a game we needed to win to go through. And that is just what we did, and actually managed to qualify for the knockout stages on the first try! This is the end I think. Dundee United is currently the leaders of the Scottish league. Atlantas Atlantas did even better than us, and won their group! I think they had a harder group as well. They come in to the next knockout round. Warg92
This is the third takeover in this save. But this happened a few days after this takeover! This is a good thing, as we had quite a few sold out games last season.
Warg92
Former Player Watch Three players I would have liked to have at the club. Edgaras Jankauskas is still our biggest sale. He has not played that many games after leaving us, and in the few games he has played he haven't really performed. Had a couple of good seasons for us, but he left (again) on a free transfer, this time to Zalgiris. He just had one season as our no.1 GK, but he is better than our current one. Warg92
Pre Season 2033 Not that many friendlies this year. We're still in the ECII. Ernestas Paulauskas is still at the club, and will continue to here until he retires! Not that much action the last few years. This is surprise, we're not predicted dead last! Warg92
Garunai in Europe So, we actually managed to get out of the group stages on the first try, and in the first knockout round we faced Dundee United. This was one of the biggest robberies in football history to be honest. We basically had one good chance and scored. Every other shot we had was from long range, and the keeper barelly had to move to get it. I thank our GK for us not conceding, and in my opinion he should have had a higher rating. It was actually closer in the second game, and until Rimvydas Stankevicius (YP09a) decided it was a good idea to get sent of, we actually had a chance at going to the next round. But in the end we lost it. All in all I'm happy though, we had a decent first try at the ECII! Atlantas A quick exit for Atlantas as well, getting knocked out by Trabzonspor. They had a much harder opponent that us.

Warg92
Mid Season 2033 The games this season has been a bit too close, and that is slightly worrying. We should have a team now that at least beats the bottom teams without any difficulties. At least we gor our revenge over Riteriai. Best player so far has to be my new number one striker, Raimondas Labukas (YP10d). Youth Intake Preview Looks like another good one. Hopefully the full-back is as good as predicted, because that is one of our weakest positions at the moment. That and the CB position.
Warg92
Garunai In Europe Another year, another go in the ECII. First up this year, we faced Zulte Waregem from Belgium. We had very similar squads, with our best players being sligthly better than theirs. In the first game we were extremely good, and should have won it with more goals. I got a bit closer than what I wanted in the second game though, and at one point we were 0-3 down! But we managed to score the goal that sent ut through in the 88th minute! We had nine players on the field at that point. Next up, Fotbal Club Viitorul Constanţa from Romania. Another team we're very close to in terms of quality. And close it was! Overall they might feel as they should have won it. And for the last we faced for a place in the Group Stages was Viborg Fodsports Forening, from Denmark! Yet again it was very close! Even closer than against Viitorul. We lost the first game, but managed to score one goal and keep a clean sheet in the next game. We should perhaps have scored another goal in that game, but it did not happen, even though we had some huuuuge chances. That meant that we were in the group stages for the second time in a row! I think this is a harder group for us than last year. We're also joined by another Lithuanian team this year as well, with Kauno Zalgiris going in to Group B. A very tough group I might add! Warg92
Youth Intake 2033 Three good prospects that hopefully will strengthen our defence in the future. (YP15a) is also the tallest player that has come through our academy. This actually looks like a bigger talent than the other players, and I believe that his PA will change once he is signed. Warg92
Another one joins the senior national team! He has also signed a contract for the next four years, I even managed to add a two year contract extension in that deal.
Warg92
End of the 2033 Season When the normal league ended this season we, were number two. The highest we have been so far. But we two point less than last season, and it was very tight below us. In the Champions Playoff we did better than we have ver done before, only losing one game. That means we managed to keep the second place, and confirmed our best ever finish. There is a long way to the top though, and it will be hard to catch up. The Lithuanian Cup ended badly this year. We lost against a team from the tier below us, a team that almost got relegated... Tomas Stankevicius (YP14f) won PoTS in his first season as a starter. In my opinion, this guy should have won it. He had more goals and more assists over the season. Best XI 2033 Best Overall XI The biggest team so far that wanted me.
Warg92
ECII Well, it was a quick exit this year for us, with the only wins against Breiðablik, the team that ended last with 0 points. But Kauno Zalgiris actually managed to finish second in their group, ahead of PSV! I think this is the end for them though. *UPDATE* It was closer than expected. Warg92
Mid Season 2034 We started the season six games unbeaten, but our form has dipped a bit. But at the midway point of the season we're still first! We also had the most goals in a game in the 6-7 defeat against Zalgiris. Best player so far is Raimondas Labukas. He has scored 15 goals in 15 starts, and is one of the main reasons we're first at the moment! Youth Intake Preview A defensive midfielder is not really the place I want a new player at the moment. But I'll still take him if he is good!
Warg92
Garunai In Europe Could we get to the group stages three times in a row? First up we faced Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, SJK, from Finland. A team we should beat without a problem. And that is just what we did. We should have scored a lot more goals in the second game, but we had no problems beating them over two games. Next up, Víkingur Gøta from Faroe Islands. The easiest team we could get at this point. No problems with the Vikings! And for a spot in the group stages we faced Olhanense from Portugal. By the looks of the team we're very similar. The first game was a close one, and could have ended both ways, and should maybe have been a draw. The second we had no problems, and ended up winning the game 6-1! That was the easiest way to the group stages so far! Groups This is also the easiest group we've had so far, and second or even first might be a possibility. Going in the Champions playoff we actually had a chance at winning the league! But, it was not to be, as we had our worst playoff in a few years. But, we still ended as number two in the league, and with the qualification places we actually have a chance in the Champions League next year! Warg92
Garunai In Europe As I said when I saw the groups, a top two position should be possible. And we had no problems going through. Warg92
Garunai In Europe 2034/35 We finished second in our group, and that means that we were through to the first knockput stage in the ECII. We faced Wolfsberger AC. In the first game we had six regular starters missing, and I feared we would really struggle, but we managed a draw. And when we had our best starting eleven in the next game we had no problems beating them. Next up FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, the team that won our group. The two games in the group ended 0-3 and 1-1. And we gor pur revenge for the 0-3 defeat in the groups by crushing them 5-2 in the home game, and when the second game ended in a draw we were through to the next round. That was against FC St. Gallen from Switzerland. This was actually the "easiest" games in the knockout stages, and we should have won both games with a bigger score. Now then, on to Eintracht Frankfurt from Germany. By far the best team we've ever faced! And that really showed. They should have won the first game with six-seven goals, and the only thing that kept the scored respectable was our GK. But we actually win the second game! We stole the win though, and in the end we did not deserve to win it. But even with the win we were knocked out. I am very happy with how far we got in the ECII! Zalgiris got knocked out by Rosenborg in the first round. *EDIT* Eintracht Frankfurt lost the final 0-3 against Newcastle. Warg92
Garunai In Europe 2035/2036 pt.1 We're with playing with the big boys now! A chance at the Champions League! For our first opponent ever we faced Neuchâtel Xamax FCS from Switzerland. We had no problems dealing with the Swiss, and won 3-0 on aggregate. We had full control in both games. Next up we faced Rosenborg from Norway. But this was a step too far, and we were knocked out. The scorelines could have been worse for us in both games to be honest. That means a quick exit from the Champions League, but a chance at the EC, that is also a first for us! A very hard group, but I think third should be a possibility.
