The Roaming Regista
Anyone else finding it impossible to use the 4231 effectively? Was a gem last year. Creating virtually no chances through actual possession, only set pieces. 433 seems to be so much easier to use.
Waseyx
I've been having plenty of success with the 4231 this year, albeit using Liverpool. Conversely have been struggling to create chances with the 433!.

I'll typically change the mentality or the LB role in big games if I feel it's needed. Edited November 25, 2019 by Waseyx

Any other adjustments you make for trickier games? Are all the attackers chipping in with goals?

Salah 25 goals and 16 assists in 48 games Firmino 21 goals and 8 assists in 49 games Mane 14 gaols and 11 assists in 40 games Origi 22 goals and 3 assists in 35 games. Shaqiri, Ox and later in the season Everton chipped in with 20 goals and 17 assists between them. As for the trickier games, mainly just dropping the defensive line and LOE sometimes and the LB role switched from F(s) to IWB(s) but mostly stayed as WB(s). Didn't ever feel the need to change anything else, dropping the wingers to the midfield strata if a sending off or to sure things up.
