Welcome to my first full FM20 save, where I will be taking big inspiration from @ManUtd1's Nearly Men saves and @PaulHartman71's European Champions League challenge.

The aim is to, starting in China (the highest rep league in Asia) win the Champions League with a team that has never won it before and once I've won the Champions League in China then I'll move on to one of the next 3 highest ranked leagues/ nations, which are Qatar, South Korea & U.A.E.

I will be managing as my Asian Persuasion player who is also probably my favourite player ever Tshewang Zangpo at the age he retired which was 35, who will have no coaching badges but will have an international footballer global reputation.

Shandong Luneng Taishan is a professional football club that currently participates in the Chinese Super League under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in Jinan, Shandong and their home stadium is the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium that has a seating capacity of 56,808. Their current majority shareholder is Shandong Electric Power Group Corporation, the biggest supplier of electric energy in Shandong province and itself part of the State Grid Corporation of China.. "Luneng" is the name of Luneng Group, now another subsidiary corporation of State Grid Corporation of China. The last part of the club name derives from Mount Tai.

The club's predecessor was called Shandong Provincial team who were founded in April 10, 1956 while the current professional football team was established in December 2, 1993. They were one of the founding members of the first fully professional top tier league in China. Since then they have gone on to win their first ever league title in the 1999 league season. They have continued to win domestic silverware with the 2006, 2008, 2010 league titles, making them one of the most successful Chinese football teams.

According to Forbes, Shandong are the 5th most valuable football team in China, with a team value of $126 million, and an estimated revenue of $24 million in 2015.

So here we go, only Guangzhou Evergrande and 2nd tier Liaoning F.C. are ineligible in China so I'm taking charge of the team predicted lowest but taking part in the Asian Champions League this season, Shandong Luneng Taishan F.C. who are predicted 4th in the league, and possess one Marouane Fellaini!

A point off top with 4 games to go, can we topple Shanghai? Or will Guangzhou carry on their great form right to the end and see them become unlikely winners? We're still in the Champions League after a tense penalty shootout win over South Korean side Jeonbuk and now we face surprise semi-finalists, Thai side Buriram Utd.

We conceded in the 89th minute against Henan who are trying to pull off a great escape and now we need to win at home to Guangzhou R&F in the final game of the season and hope that Shanghai SIPG lose away to 9th placed Jiangsu, Guangzhou Evergrande still have a slight chance to win the league as well though thanks to their superior goal difference but they have to win at home to 4th placed DL Yifang and hope other results go their way.

Oh my, one league done already! Pelle really carried you that season.

Pelle was a beast, which is why I included him in the best xi instead of Roger Guedes.

An unbeaten start to life in the UAE and we're just one point away from our predicted finish of 2nd with a solid start in the Champions League as well, we also have a cup final against Baniyas to prepare for!

It's nice to see you back in Asia. Already making it look easy.

How many nations would you need to do to complete it?

I need to win the Champions League with 45 of the 47 Asian countries (Guam and Northern Mariana Islands don't qualify for continental competition) but I've realised I've already gone wrong as I was basing the order on league strength and not on nation coefficients, UAE should have been the 8th league instead, so instead of adding Japan I'll be adding Iran.
