The aim was to use my target man to get my team up the pitch. i used "Pass Into Space" to utilise my TM pace and physicality so it is IMPORTANT that your TM is fast, strong and decent in the air Victor Osimhen 36 goals 39 starts as TM Harry Kane 40 goals in 42 starts as TM Mandzukic played as TM rotation The Tactics: 442: GAME LILLE 4-4-2 Custom Direct Counter Attack.fmf main tactic is the 442.I put the DLP in CM on Defend when i felt i wanted to be a bit more cautious Results: Finished on 97points with Tottenham and won the league 1st season!!! Finished on 90points, usually enough points to win the league but PSG ended with 104pts went on a 17 game winning streak in all comps...start of the season was tough, i was tweaking a lot and i played my reserves in CL to save my players fitness for the league as Lille have a small squad and i made - signings at the start. (only loaned Isak Belfodil as my STs were injured in Jan) important! though i'm using FMT, my training is set to Physical as this will be physically demanding on players. so i'd recommend to rotate when you can! Looks interesting as I am on track for promotion with Leeds and will be selling everything including the kitchen sink and my granny to get Haaland in. Haaland would be perfect! i'm actually trying to get him now for my 2nd season with Lille. Having him and Osimhem would be a beast of an attack and rotate each game who will take the TM role. THOUGH the pressing forward also scores a lot of goals. thats Loic Remy as my PF. only if he had more pace and physicality, god knows how many more he would've scored. i do recommend both STs good in the air though, obviously for TM but it's a bonus too for PF as lots of crosses coming in 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

You recommended I go with this tactic. I lost the first match 2-4 against A. Madrid but since then I am 13W 2D 0L including 1W and 1D against Barca. Five of those 14 matches I had 2 goals or less (one with 0). In the other 9 matches I put up 5 or 6 goals several times. I did concede a fair amount; 17 goals in 14 matches (non-friendlies) with only four clean sheets. But still a good run. Wanted to let you know! I made adjustment based on your tactic and received good result (defeat Liverpool and Arsenal away using Sheffield), you can take a look.
