Who needs van Dijk when you have a 6'5 regen with physical stats like that.

Wow! That’s the dream finding CBs like that.

Not my players directly (latter is someone I did manage when I was at Shandong) from different saves. They're not top tier, but very good players from obscure nations, and couldn't find a thread so putting them here. Always fun having players like this pop up for a certain nation :D

I'm guessing in this case having Bravery of 19, with everything else awful really means Delusional of 19.

Is his mum or dad the chairman of the club? 27 looks to be an optimistic rating ;-)

was told to sign this guy by my scouts, potential has decreased but still feel when im being told hes a wonderkid at 16 to be excited

Rossi looks insane. He feels like a Dybala regen, with a lot of similar PPMs too. Are you playing him as an ACM? Cause with his stats, he will be a beastly striker.

I've got a solid Brazilian scout that's uncovered a few winners, but so far I reckon this guy is the winnerest of the bunch. Signed him as a 19yr old in June '23 and here he is a year later. Was my cup-keeper, with Dean Henderson my league-keeper. Henderson is England's #1 at the 2024 Euros, but he'll be hard pressed not to lose more matches to Vitor (who backs up Alisson at the Copa America) in the upcoming season.

Few clubs have circled but I’ve got him tied down for 4 more years so I reckon I can keep him for now, which is key because he is my star player and reason we keep getting to the knockout rounds of the CL.

2020 Youth intake. (Not edited at all / all of my youth intake were 2 stars so all of these guys were poached on compensation apart from the brazilians obviously) Their stats aren't that good but im sure that loaning then out to vanarama/league 2 level teams should help becuz they would get good gametime

Poggio is my new hot prospect and that must be crazy becuz we still have mejbri.

Wondering what role to develop this player into ? leaning towards a b2b i am also doing BC for individual training

How much can the shooting attributes go up in 3 seasons? If you play a DM or defensive CM he'd be awesome at that, as he's already there with a bunch of values and also has the size.

I have a similar player that I am using as my Rodri/Kante CM role with an RPM/Mez either side. Good for keeping possession going and cleaning up - if your guy's offensive number came up a lot he would be excellent as a BBM though.

I use either HB/DLP in DM and either CM(A)/MEZ(A).....BWM (S)/B2B in cm ill have him retrain as BWM(S) or HB in DM as your probably right regards his finishing attributes @CaptCanuck or i am debating on using him as a WB (s) what do you think ? his acc/pace and ft need developing tbf

Oh see I like that idea - he could be a good candidate for an IWB if you use one - as he already has 10+ in passing, teamwork, vision, decisions - off the ball would need to come up and you are right pace would need to get up some too but otherwise he wouldn't need crossing as much as a tradition WB. The height out on the flanks defensively is a bonus too.

But ya otherwise being some kind of reducer in the MF, with good passing and vision to pass it off to the 'skill players' would be an easy development route.

Hi Actually rather than rating I am asking for opinions; is my regen should me winger or striker? Little bit info on my team I only use Turkish players and I have good amount of right winger(left footed) and not so much strikers but I wanna get the best performance of my regen so I play him as striker for now but now thinking maybe retrain him as winger could be better?

Versatility never hurt and he certainly could be a winger should you play him there, could see his crossing reaching 14/15 if you specifically work on that.

Have finally found my Left WB/IWB world beater candidate! Crossing and dribbling need the biggest boost, along with some other technicals, but mentally and physically he's ready to go.

Funnily enough after tonight's IRL match, but I'm looking for someone who can be better than Alphonso Davies, who in FM20 is solid and pacey for a Top 4/Cup contending Brighton side, but isn't quite there if we have genuine ambitions for the league or Champions League.

You cant accuse me of stockpiling! (The clubs didn't sign them after trial period) Also De Bruyne got sacked from man city after disagreeing with Pep so it's free real estate and so did firmino

Not that I particularly care, but there is no way that de Bruyne and Firmino get their contracts terminated to be available on a free. Much less, in the first year. (atleast, without help from the editor).

Something smells.. fishy

Maybe down to the fact you are managing multiple teams in this save? One being Chelsea by the way they are highlighted in the transfers screen

That's an insane player. Practically a Dybala regen. They're wasting him if they're not playing him as a creative striker.

I’ve managed to keep hold of him and he is tied down until he is 32 years old. Been an incredible player for me. Played 262 games, scored 158 goals.

A few from me from my Millwall save which is now in 2027.

First up is this guy, who I signed from Feyornoord and retrained as a centre back.  He's handy cover at left back, but his attributes looked a lot better suited to a CB despite having no rating there when I bought him (for £80m!)

YY3JCN0.png

Then there's my midfield duo - one is more all-action (Colin) whilst Peeters sits deep breaking up play and pinging 80 yard passes all over the place. Really pleased with these as I got them both very young and brought them on

And last but not least, my GK, who I hope will end up with 200+ caps for Japan.  He's been a first team starter for me since he was 18 and played 2 full seasons before that in Japan so he already has over 300 first team appeareances at 24!

@BJG123 - I hope El Arabi doesn't stand beside Colins and Peeters on team photo day ;-)

I'm a bit of a heightist, otherwise Colins really does look to be the dog's proverbials! Weirdly enough I have a Belgian regen with the first name Guido and then a very lowlands last name.

haha yeah, I have a thing for training anyone with tacking over 12, passing over 15 and jumping over 12 into a centre back, so my CMs always end up being tiny.  If Peeters was taller I'd 100% be wasting all his skills by playing him as a CB.  He'll end up with 20 for passing I think and I've always wanted to know what would happen if your best playmaker was also your centre back.

Final update:

Champions League Final 2034 - Midtjylland make their first appearance in the final, facing Barcelona. Dupuis scores early to make it 1-0 and has a penalty to make it 2-0. He misses and Midtjylland concede 3 late goals to lose.

World Cup Final 2034:

Dupuis gets sent off 5 minutes into the World Cup Final and France lose.

Champions League Final 2035:

Dupuis gets his redemption!

Had a really good youth intake (probably the best I've ever had). I do have a couple of issues though - A couple of these players I don't think will fit my tactic. Gilchrist is easy - GK. Liddicott is also easy enough - he will be trained as a right winger (although, I wouldn't be against training him as a RB but his tackling worries me). The issues I have are as follows:

  • Holland I am training as a BPD with the idea to try and raise his composure and vision a bit but ultimately play him as a CD. I am concerned about his jumping reach and composure mostly. I think his lack of technique limits my ability to train him to play in the CM-De role or WB-Su role. I just can't see it being raised high enough. Am I right to stick to training him to play CD?
  • Cox seems a straight forward RB but his lack of pace worries me. I can't really see another role for him Being either footed does open up opportunities usually (and I have my RB cutting inside). Should his lack of pace concern me?
  • Hillard I don't think will cut it as a PF or AF in my tactic. I think he may be able to play WP-At in the future. He may also cut it as a CM-Su. Which would be the better role for him?

As a reference, here is my tactic:

My regens of my save. Also, FYI my squad has 263 people in it so they are VERY good.

Ben Allen:

Poached off Arsenal who demanded a lot of money for him but I disrupted him and Arsenal actually let him go for free. I did this for a few players.

Tuesday Wednesday:

Ignore the odd name but remember it. This goalie has heaps of potential to become the best the world has ever seen. Atletico made the fatal mistake of a 6 month contract. AI is dumb. Sent him on loan to Génération Foot. If the name sounds familiar, it's because it's the maker of players such as: Sadio Mane, Ismaila Sarr and Papiss Cisse

1773155078_2020-09-11(3).thumb.png.85f09b214ef645d36ace8785baeea0a3.png

Ettore Poggio:

My best prospect at the club. Gallons of potential. I struck a 1 year deal with Torino so that I could get all their player for free. After I got Poggio, I canceled the link. Call me what you want but it's free real estate.

1772560105_2020-09-11(2).thumb.png.9781e233dd5bcff8f6a014772ca961f4.png

Harrison Foster: The most valuable regen in the game. I could just play it simple, keep him in the Man Utd U23's and give him the odd cup match. Or I could send him on loan. Where should he go? Generation Foot, Barnet or Atletico Pamplona. I am leaning towards Barnet because they are my hometown club. They could get a massive boost from it.

I call it cheating. Play the game how you want, but don't come on here pretending you've genuinely signed these players. A 1 year deal with Torino to get all their players for free? De Bruyne and Firmino free in the first season? No-one will believe any of the regens you post are genuine now.
