phd_angel
I nearly sell all my deadwood and keep only 3-star players upwards. I then realize than my U23 and U18 teams are severely reduced! (I only keep high-potential players I can develop: it's up or out). Is it a problem not to have a substantial U23 or U18 teams?...
RoversRob
At a guess I'd say not really. If your U23 or U18 squad dont have enough players for one of their fixtures then the game will just auto generate temp players.
Snorks
Yeah, in terms of player numbers the game will auto-generate those required and they will appear as 'grey' names in the squad list. - it is possible to offer these players a contract if you want to keep the numbers up. Not sure how it impacts the development of your high potential guys though - I always like to see my age-group sides competing for silverware because I think (probably wrongly) that bigger, important competitive matches count for more. Having a squad were your best potential aren't really being challenged goes against my ideas on their development. Get them training and playing with and against better players! thehig2
if you consistantly loan out all your high potential players then I dont think it matters if your u21/u18s are even functioning
