They can spend savings on different things to help build their reputation. eg £50,000 to sponsor a charity £500,000 to establish a foundation in their name £1,000,000 to build a school in their home town. These things might build the managers profile and help attract players. Alternatives are to establish a side business for profit that would boost savings but would seem detrimental in the eyes of the players and lose reputation. Money in the managers bank account can selectively be invested in their club to boost transfer fees or wage budget for the year as a temporary boost.
