Ballybogey are a team lingering way down in the 10th tier of Northern Ireland, this will be me seeing how far I can take them before FM20, not youth only but the DoF or Chairman or Assistant Manager will be making signings.

Leagues loaded:

I'm wanting to do this to see if by time I get Ballybogey up into Europe we'll be facing some different and interesting teams in European competition.

An expected massive loss against Aberdeen but we scored a goal! We managed to beat non-league Ballysillan, 7th tier Iveagh Utd, 4th tier Bourneview Mill & 6th tier Lurgan Institute.

Glad to see you do a Northern Ireland challenge! Played in many of those tiers before although more towards Ballymena/Belfast directions.

You'll probably notice more and more teams as we climb the leagues then!

Yeah I recognise a few already. Always loved Atletico Antrim. There is also a couple of Eastern European only teams as well floating around the leagues although not sure if this has been picked up in the database at all.

Interesting, reckon you'll be in the top divisions in a week or so! Was hoping to see another save like your Asian Persuasion save at some point.

We'll see what happens with the FM20 editor is released, I'm just not a big fan of the Asian Champions League layout.

Which ones are they? I'll have a look for them.

Might be an absolute pain, but if you get a chance can you post the teams in each league? Been a few years since I have played in the leagues and they tend to move about a lot. Last year an amateur side got to the Irish Cup Quarter Finals (Larne Tech O.B). The Polish club names should be obvious but can't for the life of me remember them.

I've not noticed any foreign looking team names. :(

A defeat away to Ballycastle puts a slight dent in our title challenge, but only the smallest one as a Lee Bradley hat-trick sees us beat Macosquin 3-1 and finish the month 6 points clear with just the 3 games remaining.

My guess is he just goes on holidays and stops every season to make transfers

I'd say more likely is he has a PC with a top-notch CPU.  My games take forever because my laptop has a 5th gen i3 which is a bit crap these days.  I think if I could afford something with a more meaty CPU I'd get through games much quicker, as we all know the longest time in FM is the processing time between matches.

I'd think it's continue game timeout and instant result on match days. Although @kevhamster must also be right with the top-notch CPU - there are over 250 leagues loaded here!

Always love your threads Makoto, this one's very interesting.

Yeah Makoto has mentioned before he uses Instant result... i do too. Definitely cuts down on a lot of playtime!

Instant Result is the only way I can play the game now.

I occasionally use Instant Result for friendlies, but I like to be able to make adjustments in the match.  Not that it's doing me much good at the moment in my current save!!

Hmmmm definitely some teams missing in those leagues although I can understand as it's not necessarily easy to get information on them. By the time you get up I presume Larne should be knocking about the top of the Premier league!

A good start. I did this years ago, but only from 3rd division with Sport and Leisure. Best season was a Champions League Final loss to Man City.

I think it was NepentheZ that got me into Northern Ireland back in FM08 I think it was with Knockbreda.

Why end the croatian story prematurely for a new one in the 10th tier? There was still so much to come I am sure, hans on!

I'm just struggling with Croatia Berlin motivation really.

How do you get the time to play so many saves??  lol

An interesting one though, I've had some fun times managing teams in Northern Ireland.

I have free time and a fast computer.

Thanks Sysiphus it'll be interesting to see if any more smaller clubs make the climb to the top tiers.

That's a shame then, so far the league has been won by Coleraine and Dungannon Swifts with Larne coming 2nd last season.
