I go to work and you get promoted, stay up the following season right at the end, (what are the chances of a 1st Team being relegated forcing the Reserves to also be relegated), and then take 7 points from your opening 4 games in the next season.

Bravo, Bravo indeed. :applause::thup:

[Edit]

And 7 more points the following month. :lock:

And then 3 from the next 5 games.

Good old Hansa Rostock!

Maybe they should play some of their second teamers in the first team!

Glad you stayed up and are having a solid start to the new season.

Maybe!

They got back to back relegations so they should be finding this a bit easier than they do.

Great start this season but that depth is looking awful..

We're screwed whenever we lose anyone really. :(

That's it get as many points as you can now!

God bless Rostock!

We'll try too, September wasn't very helpful though.

Nice work! Your top scorer has 2 for finishing!! :D :D You could probably play any of your midfielders in striker positions, they might do better than some of the current lot - although Cacic looks pretty good.

Thanks! Well hopefully we'll be able to keep hold of strikers for now!

We finally got some more points in the league to ease the pressure at the bottom of the table.

Just a suggestion/reminder, but if I were in your position I would be completely rotating the squad in games such as the Berolina Cup game, to give me the best possible chance of getting a result against Lok Leipzig 3 days later. I know a lot of people like doing it, but I've found it to be hugely effective. What happens is that your players don't take the initial morale hit so lets say you just get a point from the Lok Leipzig game and everything sort of snowballs from there. I've found it possible to really game the system a little if you pick and choose what games you want to peak for.

Feb 2051 you again won in the Cup, but lost 3 days later in the league to Greif which was a winnable game.

Mar 2051. When you played the likes of Rostock, give the 1st team the day of and just let the kids have a go. (I mean the even younger kids than the already kids that you are playing by the way).

By the way, this is just a suggestion by the way. You should feel free to do whatever you want.

April 2051. You again won in the Cup, but 3 days later you lost to one of the big-boys at home by a single goal. Had you rotated the squad for the Cup game, (I'm assuming you didn't based on goal-scorers), then maybe you turn the 1 goals loss against Bablsberg into a draw and then in turn you maybe get something out of the Nodhausen game.

Anyway, haven't caught up full so will now stop talking and start reading. So happy this is back. :D

I was going to say that this post shows that people do look at the profiles when they are embedded.

It's also made me look, (and I don't usually look).

Actually it's not the 2 for finishing that stands out, but the fact that he has the "comes deep to get ball" PPM and I "think" he's being played as an AF(a), and more than that he has another PPM "knocks ball past opponents" and he has pace of 7 and acceleration of 9. He's actually scored 17 goals from 42(1) appearances, (which is reasonable), but when you consider that he has cored 5 from 5 in Cup games and only 12 in 37(1) league games then it's less impressive. Also less than impressive is the 0.42 dribbles completed per 90.

@Makoto NakamuraI know he is the 2nd best striker you've got, but you can't play him as an AF(a). I'm not sure what else will work with your tactic, but he just can't play as an AF(a). I'd be tempted to play him as a WM or something. Maybe even a wide playmaker. It all depends on who else you have up front. I think a pacey winger might be better up front and he might be better in a more conservative role on the flank.

Again, just a suggestion.

I hadn't even noticed that, my thought is that if we win in the cup then hopefully they'll use that morale boost in the next game, obviously this is not the case.

Galosi has ousted Valentic in the overall Best XI despite Valentic having played more games, scored more goals and having a better average rating.

Kids today always underrate the classics.

I was wondering if people looked at the best XI  I'd probably be best off swapping Sinisa Buzanic and Sasa Lukic.

Back to being poor and although it doesn't look like it, we did rotate for the Berolina game swapping out 6 players but it hasn't helped in the league this time, we still have a nice enough gap between ourselves and Nordhausen which is good.

And Sasa Lukic is out for 6-9 months thanks to damaged cruciate ligaments in a friendly. :(

But on the plus side, surly nobody is going to poach him now.

This could be the answer. Get all your best players crocked with long-term injuries and then sign them to long-term contracts while they are out.

Managed to finally get through all 15 pages. Can't believe you've spent that long in one game, good stuff. Not ideal spending 30 years in Oberliga, but great work on getting so far. Here's hoping you stop fighting relegation and move up the table.

Cheers Alfie! I'm sure we'll progress, even if it's in tiny increments.

So do I, we faced the big guns of the league so hopefully we can have a nicer last couple of months, we're in the 4th tier now.
