It looks like we might have a bit of a rivalry with La Fiorita brewing! They were pretty dominant all season (better than us, to be fair) and would have won the title if it wasn't for a 93rd minute penalty by us to take it to Extra Time. This could be interesting to watch over the next few years...

La Fiorita must hate us :D

How are the other sides doing in terms of facilities and semi pro status. Im one season behind your game but we only have around 5 amateur teams left. No professional yet until we go pro this summer.

La Fiorita turned Professional about 5 years ago, Tre Fiori about 6 years ago, and Cailungo 2 years ago. Everyone else is Semi-Pro, so there's no Amateur teams left. Not much improvement facilities wise, however.

An incredible fight with La Fiorita who pushed us all the way, but thankfully we disposed of them in the Final to secure another league title and Champions League football :D

They got revenge over us in the Cup, though! I'm really enjoying this rivalry so far, although that'll change if they start taking league titles off us :D

Consistently playing in Europe and winning a few games has meant that we've been seeded for this draw, and it's given us a really winnable game against the Faroese Champions! This is a great chance to get through to the Second Round (and make a lot of extra cash...)

That's a bit out the blue! My reputation is only 1.5* and my stats are hardly the best...

I think it's safe to say that if this was real life, not a single England fan would have heard of me

I'm declining their very kind offer, anyway. There's only one NT job that interests me ;)

A huge win sees us into the 4th Qualifying Round!

We're probably going to get battered, but we'll give it a go!

Why does some players do not get their nicknames (YP#)? Like Guerra.

Good question! It just comes down to the way I decide to number my Youth Prospects, really. Some people like to use (YP#X), where # is the year the player came through the intake and X is the letter to denote where they were rated in that intake - for example, the 3rd best player from a 2028 intake would be YP28c. I've used this system in the past but the one I prefer to use and the one I'm using now is YP#, where the number is simply one after the last Youth Player to be tagged. I only tag the players who I look at and think will be big players for us at the start of a save - when we become bigger and better and potential actually matters, the players I think will become first teamers will get tagged. Doing it this way feels more personal to me than reducing every player to a number, and it's always cool (in my opinion, anyway!) when a player you didn't tag breaks through into the first team anyway. I still fondly remember Massimo Grandini (YP5) who was an incredible striker for me the first time I did this save, and Nicola Rattini, who I didn't tag at all but kept on developing and became far and away our best player. If you had to ask me to name a single player from when I used the tag everyone method, I wouldn't be able to do it.

TL;DR: I quite like the exclusivity and personality of only tagging a few ;)

Thank you for the explanations! It does make sense, quite interesting!

Interesting!

Born in Clacton-On-Sea in Essex, England, but with a name like Andrea Valli and being both Sammarinese and English, Valli presumably has that rare combination of an English and Sammarinese parent, but it works out great for us  Being English, there's a decent chance that his PA is a fair bit higher than if he was just pure Sammarinese. I don't know how long we'll be able to keep him for, but he should be able to help the National Team at the very least!

I know Clacton is exotic, but this is something else. Brilliant.

Wow!

I don't really know what else to say. We won all 21 league games and even though the Playoffs were tighter than I'd have liked (Fiorentino actually beat us 1-0 at their place before we won 3-1 at ours), it's a pretty hard to beat season!

Another cup in the collection too :)

Check out Davide Toccaceli (YP19) - 11 goals from CB and an 8.08 average rating in the league!

The astute ones out there might have noticed that Andrea Valli (YP20) had a Trn symbol next to his name before...

Well...

This was a bit out the blue!

Valli has been too good for us, and his English links has meant he's got quite a few caps for the England U19 squad, but I never thought that a team like Chelsea would be interested! I doubt he plays a game for them, but what a place for him to develop!

I was worried that with the extra European games we might struggle a bit domestically, but I needn't have worried. Cailungo and La Fiorita are okay competition, but we're head and shoulders above them right now, and I don't anticipate that changing anytime soon.

Cailungo made us work for it (as did Tre Fiori, tbf) but we got the job done to win another Coppa Titano. Not bad considering it took us about five years just to win a game in it
