Pattric_b
DFB- Pokal Final Not the greatest achievement but it's a cup that I want to win, so here we go! This is happened a lot this season. We start slow then after I yell a little they get some goals, let's see how we respond when I ''demand more''. Took longer than I expected but we found the equalizer! 92' Stoppage time and this game looks destined for extra time... when Eder Luis gets the ball. He dribbles into the box and their #3 looks to risk it all or nothing with a strong challenge. He appears to go through my player with two feet and it looks bad. Ref Yannic Eberwein stops play to review the tackle! We could have a penalty late in the game and if we score it would be a sure win. All that drama for nothing... That's the full time whistle... Extra time soon to follow!
Pattric_b
After giving my players a good lashing in the dressing room, we start up the first half of ET 93' Wolfsburg have a throw in My captain Dursun reads it very well and wins it off Salazar with ease. He dribbles forward a few yards and plays it off to our striker Rivera Rivera receives the ball and dribbles to his left, favoring his stronger foot and appears to be lining up a desperate Hail Mary shot... greatttt..... The shot immediately appears to be wayyyy off target But wait! WHATS THIS??!! God must have been on our side tonight and sent a gust of wind for us! Unbelievable scenes!!!!! Rivera has scored a god like goal!!! 2-1 Dortmund!
Pattric_b
Our last sub made an immediate impact! And this game appears to be all but finished! DFB- Pokal Champions! So now there is one more match left to be played and that is the Champions League final against PSG, no doubt our toughest opponent the past three matches. Winning the DFB- Pokal will up my reputation slightly but winning the Champions League would be huge for me and the club!
Pattric_b
End of Season Awards I didn't walk away with any awards but my players did. Even still I find this one strange. Best Rookie Top Goalscorer Footballer of the Year We didn't win this one but I'm pleased for Eder Luis who performed very well in his first season in the Bundesliga. Higuchi is just a pure beast and one of the best players I've seen on this game. Crazy good player

Pattric_b
After a great tackle from our CM, the ball unluckily bounced to their striker who was clean through on our goal and slotted it in. 0-1 PSG Halftime We have been ineffective going forward and I am going to give them another lashing in the dressing room. Pattric_b
67' Our man Henao was pushed and indicates it to the ref who immediately stops play to go and review the footage. Pattric_b
87' Our cm Guadalupe Rivera (not to be confused with our striker who scored that wonder goal German Rivera) made a bone crunching tackle and charged up the field before hitting an early cross into Henao PSG center back, Uche, does a good job and heads the ball out of the area... But it falls straight to our recently subbed on central midfielder and academy product, Tomasz Michalski who lines up a shot from outside the box... AND BEATS THE KEEPER!!! THE 22 YEAR OLD HAS DONE IT!!! 2-1 DORTMUND!!!

Exactly I have to end Leipzig’s run of 7 titles in a row, that’s the goal. They just lost their manager Pochettino to Spurs so maybe that’s all it will take. I know I felt that way too, we dominated the league and made very few mistakes the whole season but that one loss to Leipzig ended our league chances honestly. Looking forward to bringing in some new faces and starting up the next season!
Pattric_b
My first transfer of the new season has been completed and I've finally been reunited with my good friend Tim Drake. If you've been following, you'll remember I first hired Tim was way back in my New Zealand days. After I left to Crawley I spent many hours on the phone trying to convince him to uproot his family from their gorgeous suburban home in Auckland for a chance to help manage and live in...... Crawley. But he was too wise and resisted my attempts until I took over Hull when I finally brought him over to England. Unfortunately right before I signed for Dortmund he had signed a new deal with Hull so I couldn't bring him with me but I promised him when the first season ends I will personally book you a one way ticket to Dortmund. And now he finally arrives just in time for the two of us to continue our journey and conquer Germany!
Pattric_b
2040/41 Season New season, same result. This was a very disappointing result even though this is essentially a glorified friendly match. Any match our title rivals are involved, it should be taken seriously. I may have to strengthen the squad even more after this.
Pattric_b
Milestones The next Euro super cup will be my 500th match in management! And we cap it off with a win against Gladbach! Pattric_b
Start of the Bundesliga We kicked off the new season with another game against Leipzig and this time we managed to earn a point. I was frustrated given the position we were in and the fact that we saved a dodgy penalty call. But a draw is not the worst result, especially since we were away. Transfers: The window hasn't closed but I don't see us spending any more money. We already signed two high profile players who cost us a good amount. Luckily I was able to offload some players to lessen the financial damage. Deacon is by all accounts a phenomenal player. We desperately needed a natural left midfielder and Deacon fills that void. Sure he was the most expensive transfer in dortmund history but you cannot put a value on our need for a player like him and the potential long term benefits of having a player like this. History will show that this transfer will pay for itself. And our other signing was also an expensive one but as you can see, he is an 'elite' center back. Mirti is a physical beast and center back (along with left midfield) was a position I had to strengthen no questions asked.
Mandy42
I was unsure about Deacon looking at his stats, yes he is physically impressive but what I call "basic" attributes, the passing / tackling / shooting / marking etc aren't indicative of most expensive transfer ever, but if you need him you need him. Plus with that surname, if he becomes successful it wouldn't take me long to give him the nickname "The Reverend" But Mirti, like you say he's an absolute beast, in every aspect, high basic attributes for his position, fantastic physical attributes, and the icing on the cake high positioning and decision making scores, clone him asap! This guy is always cutting inside with the ball and plays like a natural inverted winger which I really like. I also consider him a player with a good football brain and good movement. He's a good decision maker and to me those factors off set his technical 'failings.' Being that Dortmund gave me a large transfer budget and we didn't really take a hit from the transfer I decided to just sign him and immediately improve our left midfield position. Pattric_b
Nearly played through November and we are cruising. Schalke have surprised and managed to keep up with us to this point which was not expected. Defending champions Leipzig have fallen off the pace and will have a hard time trying to get back into the title race at this point. Champions league we have also looked strong, we still have to play Young Boys and Bournemouth again so we get a chance to avenge our loss to the cherries. Pep has them playing very well as you can see they haven't even conceded a goal.
Pattric_b
Liverpool are having a really bad year but definitely not out of the running for silverware in my opinion. Mandy42
Pep Guardiola at Bournemouth, wow! - You applied for the Liverpool job, so I figure you should go for it, you wouldn't have applied if you didn't want it. On the other hand you look a shoe in for the domestic title at the very least this season, plus the chance of a good Champions League run as well, which means if you could walk into the job of the 16th club in the Premier League right now, what job could you get at the end of the season? I see the dilemma, when it comes down to it, toss a coin if you have to :P

I see the dilemma, when it comes down to it, toss a coin if you have to :P I wanted to see where I stood with the big premier league clubs. Taking over Liverpool offers me an interesting chance to take them over under similar conditions as to when Fergie took over Untied. Let's see why: Liverpool have fallen from prominence and are in danger of becoming a bottom half team. They still maintain a high reputation in England but fell out of the top 6 and their last trophy was 11 years ago. In 2026 they failed Financial fair play regulations and in 2029 John Henry left the club for dead. The chairman who took over in his place lasted only 10 years and then he decided to leave. The club are now setting goals of avoiding relegation. This is not the Liverpool I grew up knowing and I want to bring them back to the pinnacle of football! So with that I have decided that I have finally found my long term club. And now my goal is to once again become the winningest club in England. Lets go! Sorry to disappoint Dortmund and the supporters but this is an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Dortmund will never have the history of a club like Liverpool in my lifetime and I want to be apart of that history!
Pattric_b
Plans My goal as new Liverpool manager is to fill the squad with determined young players who are hungry to win. Liverpool have always had a great academy and that is still the case so I will look to bring youth players through and ideally I would like to have my entire team filled with academy players at some point. Gonzalez is a team leader but he doesn't have the best personality I want the younger players to be around so I will sell him. I don't mind how good he is. If Schreuder becomes a headache I will also look to move him on even though he looks like a great player. I want to rule with an iron fist and I don't want player dissent. Similar to Fergie. Playing wise, my ultimate goal is to have us playing the way the 'Spice boys' used to play. Minus the white suits and the off field exploits. For anyone unaware of the Spice boys, give this video a quick watch. They predominately used a 3-5-2 formation and that is also what I will look to try and implement during my time here. Pattric_b
My first match in charge was a pretty huge game. Pattric_b
So since my first game against Everton we have been in pretty good form. We lost to a superior City and arsenal side away from home but it was pretty close. We have slowly moved up the table as a result. Only 6 points separate us from 6th place and 9 points away from 4th. We have great goal scorers on this team and based on that I will say anything is possible we can definitely get a European qualification spot. Currently been playing this variation of a 4-2-4 which is very exciting to watch if you enjoy attacking football. Not so much if you like solid defense though... Our defenders are the weakest group of players on my team so much improvement is needed there. However, for now I'm willing to forget about defense as long as we keep scoring and winning matches. Taking over a struggling club is hard enough mid way through the season.

Pattric_b
With the season coming to the final phase, we are making a good run for European competition. Faced a tough match against Spurs in the FA Cup and it was too bad to go out like that given the nice run we made beating city and soton in the process. 5 games remaining and it definitely isn't the easiest schedule. Two derbies in a row and then city at home on the final day. Forest and watford aren't the toughest teams in terms of talent but being away is never easy in the Premier league. We have to stay focused and continue to work hard in order to achieve a top 6 finish. Overall, regardless of where we finish, I am pleased with how we played since I took over the club and we already exceeded the boards goals.

Yeah it's pretty bizarre and seems unrealistic how the managers go back and forth to top clubs but we always have to remember that we are playing through an entire year in the span of a week (depending on your speed sometimes longer or quicker) so it needs to be looked at in that context. Now a days managers seem to lose their job regularly but if one loses their job then that means another position opens for a top manager to take. Pattric_b
End of Season We finished the season on a high! And with that, finished 8th in the league. In the end Southampton only needed to secure 75 points to win the league which is the lowest I remember it being for some time. Just a testament to how competitive this league really is in 2041. Overall I am pleased with how the season went for us. Compared to where we were, we are much better off and actually look like a decent team since I took over. The budget is pretty small for a club in rebuilding but I will have to find a way to make it work. My goal next season is qualify for Europe.
Pattric_b
Scouting Network I have big dreams for Liverpool. I want to take them to the top and want to do it with young talented players close to the club. In order to do so it helps having the best recruitment and scouting team in the league. Arguably the world. So this is going to be put to use and I will be taking control of scouting assignments from here on out. Let's start by looking at my chief scout. Montgomery appears to be a very good scout with a vast knowledge of Europe and parts of the Middle East. Not sure if I'd make him my chief of scouting but he is definitely good. And here is a breakdown of the rest of my scout and recruitment team. Barry Hunter, who's been at the club since 2012, would be my obvious choice for chief scout but instead I'm going to deploy him locally to uncover hidden gems. As you can see we have mostly British scouts, which is good. Like I said I don't really want to rely on foreign players as much, I'd like to use local talent. That's not to say I won't sign a great foreign player if they become available. I'd just prefer to have full British team because it seems harder to achieve lol. And here is our world knowledge view. The areas I will focus on are the areas we have highest knowledge of for now. So that's UK & Ireland, Scandinavia, Central Europe, South America (East), North America and East Europe. I asked the board for more scouts and they complied so now I have spots for two more scouts to bring in. I'm not so focused on getting higher world knowledge because as I already said im not looking to recruit from the entire world. But I would like to improve my North America and East Europe knowledge. So I'll bring in one scout for each. A few days later... I got my North American scout but my offer for a polish scout fell through as he accepted a new deal at his current club so I will continue to search for an Eastern European scout. Until then I have Mark scouting western South America. These are my current scouting assignments I have set up. As you can see we are heavily scouting Uk & Ireland. I have the scouts with better JPP scouting for the youth players where as scouts with better JPA are looking for non youth. I also have set them to only bring me repots on players who have good determination and natural fitness ratings. I don't want to bring in anyone who has low determination or is injury prone as it's likely I would waste a lot of time trying to develop them and not see any results. The recruiting process may end with the scouts bringing me the players reports and me signing them, but the hard work only starts there. I need to ensure they will be getting the best possible training at the youth level. I have space to add to my U18 staff and I will do so. I want to train the youth players to play my style of football which is attacking and intense pressing. Having the best coaches is a necessity. Here's my youth coaches: And after adding two coaches... We now have the best youth coaches in England (not counting GK coaches but I am looking for another GK coach ) I will be reporting back once we identify young players and brought them in. Hopefully deals can be struck.

And if the players wanna have a good time off the pitch I don’t mind as long as it doesn’t effect their performance levels. Bringing a player through the ranks like McManaman is my dream. Using a functioning 3-5-2 with wide midfielders is also a goal of mine but I simply do not have wide players suited for a system like that just yet. Realistically I’m probably going to have to develop players to play that position rather than buy because those types of players aren’t available in the current market. So it could be a few years before the 3-5-2 is used. It’s a risky set up but really fun to watch once you get it working I’ve used it last on fm14 and won everything with Arsenal.
