Are players that turn 16 post release added into the game in the winter update?

Hi, highly rated Karamako Dembele has just signed this first Pro contract with us (Celtic) and turns 16 in Feb.

 

I'm just wondering if players like him, that turn 16 after release are put into the game in the transfer update?

based on previous (hearts have had a lot of young players get debuts in admin season etc) some werent in game after updates.

At a guess I'd say if he isnt already in the youth team youll have to wait til next year.

not a chance, unless his parents sign petition that he could be in game.

Players have to be least 16 years old as at 01/09/2018 (i.e. they have a date of birth no more recent than 31/08/2002) to be included in FM19.

I seem to remember they did this for Martin Ødegaard to get him in the game?

Pretty sure he's the only one, and that was because he was playing first team football and had made his international debut.
