Contents

• The file has been updated to the summer transfer window of the 2018 season. There are over 600,000 changes in total. 
• Every first team player and staff member in J1 & J2 League has been included. All personnel have been set with attributes, positions, shirt numbers, personal details and playing histories.
• Most of the staff members and some players in J3 have been included with the above details set.
• Real attendance and season ticket figures for teams in J1 through JFL. Real media outlets and major player agents have been added. (by Dax)
• More than 1000 U18 players, high school players, university players and youth staff have been added with accurate personal details, positions and ratings. Some youth players also have select attributes set based on their strengths and weaknesses. (by Dax)
• Realistic league structure up to JFL with realistic prize money and rules. A standard U18 system has been included due to the impossibility of replicating the real one without bugs.
• Realistic finances have been implemented using financial records provided by clubs. Numbers have been scaled as accurately as possible to how FM calculates expenses. (by Dax)

This is sort of a beta release considering I've only tested the file with the two highest divisions. I've also left some of the managers sacked in the latter half of the season unchanged if they were replaced by interim options, these will be changed for the 2019 season release.

Had a look at the data and it seems great! Lots of hard work has gone into this I see :)

but this year the files wont work as the unique ids are all different.. do we have any plans to sort this out

First off, I want to say I really appreciate your hard work and that this file makes my FM experience so much greater.

However, a small issue I've noticed is that a large number of english newgens get japanese names. Now, I suspect this is because there's added players in this file where the nationailty is not set, which makes it default to english and thus makes engish newgens get those names. I've tried to take a look at this in the editor, but I can't seem to find a way to sort players by english nationlity and based in Japan. Does anyone here know how to do this?

 

Edit: Figured it out. It seems like there's no added japanese players with engish nationality, which makes this issue stranger. Is it a bug that SI needs to be avare of?

I have a facepack with +/- 900 pictures (facepack of last year + some of my own work) where I only need to change the old ID's.

If needed, I will change the ID's and share the facepack.

yes, seems that some another database does mess with my ID's. 

then, i've collected 555 faces pack only for myself

then, please, revise your pack and release, anyway it's better then mine.

I've scanned all 4777 Japanese players/staff in the editor for duplicates from A to Z (with filter). The current list of duplicates I have found myself (some were already confirmed). 

That's just the ones with main Japanese nationality.

Foss normally seems to delete the original ID's when players are duplicated, so I think the ID's should remain the same

I get the same ID's, other than one, which I think is a typo on CrowBar's post - Shota Kaneko ends in 621 rather than 261 (1915387621 is the actual ID). Otherwise all exactly the same with all 340,000+ players and staff loaded with Foss' file and the SI database.

Great stuff, thanks! I tend to forget about players moving abroad to play in smaller leagues. Some of those duplicates are really strange considering they are players who've retired some time ago, I must've missed them early on without realizing they had counterparts in the database already.
In any case, I've gone and deleted every duplicate in this list and will probably be able to release a hotfix soon.

I don't have FM 2019 yet, but I think if Foss file name will be change to "1" or maybe "1 Japan - DB" then game always use this database as first and always this ID should be this same for everybody. Please check this, because now I still played FM 2017 and don't have chance to try this.

I saw ur roster by pre-editor19

 

and there is too many failed things.

 

So i delete all failed things. If u need it ill send to u.

 

And i suggest, if make some new player, ud better make by 'new' not 'copy'.

 

also donot delete person, just change person type 'retired' cause if delete person u cant find him after when u need modifying sir :-)

 

If u do like this, u can modify old records at data changes section.

In some cases it seems better to keep the SI player ID and delete the created one (usually higher ID). Because lots of the duplicates are players that shipped out of Japan and are playing somewhere else in the world, where it makes more sense to keep the original ID intact so that you don't lose stuff on facepacks like the cut-out one who always look at the original ID's set by SI.

One thing I noticed (minor)

Torres has a 3 year deal on the save but he only signed a 18 month contract with an option to extend another season

Also is there a reason I cant view the club overview page for either my own club or other clubs in the league?

The national team seems to be N/A too, with just al generated players

I also see all the team names are very different to what they are in reality - is there a reason for this?

Due to the licensing issues with the JFA, SI have hardcoded a block on certain panels for Japanese teams. Foss has said the only way around this is to create Japan as a new nation which then a breaks few things 

You'll need to install a namefix to change the team names and fix the Japanese national team having newgens https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm19-real-names-license-fix.html
