Well this is the first time in all Football Manager series that i am actually trying to learn how to skin the game, still baby steps but it looks nice to me, lets see where i can get, but this year the light skin seems pretty nice except from the club and player overview, so that was where i started, keep in mind that im trying to follow the style of the default light skin.

Nah, the base one is just a basic one with extra mods and stuff, i dont have the laptop to make high res or time to make all the zoom versions.

I'm not sure how many of you remember TomDixon and his popular Steklo skin. His last master piece of work was for FM15. He started work on a skin (StekloX6) for FM16 but didn't finish it and disappeared from the forums.

If anyone wants to draw inspiration from his unfinished work, I have these screenshots to hopefully get you started:

Steklo means glass in Russian, so he always used that as his theme for his skin while making it.

I really like the header-graphics and the fact that you really managed to put the tabbar at the bottom. Interesting and really refreshing idea! Just not sure if it hinders usability or if it has no impact to it since I've never seen it before. Would you mind sharing how you moved it down? Guess it's more to it than just moving a line to another place?

Its useability is fine, jsut familiarity (i'm not sold on it, i moved it as a stop gap while i built the titlebar) is prob going back to normal, but id have to build a header graphic to fit the titlebar.

Nope, it just copy and pasting the lines in hte object browswer up or down the containers.   I initally wanted to have it at the top or bottom auto-hidden but couldnt get the  animation  to work the right way around.

This looks good as well, but from my visual perspective, the look is even better with the bar at the bottom. But as you say it might take a while to get familiar with it^^ Are you doing the graphics yourself? I just know how to improve my photos but don't know much about metallic looks etc... it's a shame when I see your work :-)

Yeah, the graphics are usually mine (unless you see it in another skin, then clearly i've lifted it)  The titlebar is left over from a Chrome/Metal skin idea i had a few FMs ago.  I would have prob given it a go on tihs, but the graident font colours have been nerfed and it kinda doesnt fit (Stupid SI).  I may go back to that idea. I have a dump folder of about 10 skins started and never finished going back to 15

Yeah, i scrapped that idea for this skin, just didnt suit it.  I tend to do that with icons, there easy to do while learnign stuff in new paint/photoshop add ons.

Same with the team report icons and stuff
