I have tested this with Middlesboro who are underdogs and with Salzburg to see how it does against bigger champions league teams. Santos is a current test with some traits added. Middlesboro finished 2nd (1 point off champions!) and so far in Austria we are unbeaten. Beating Bayern and Chelsea on the way and finishing top of the group In Salzburg I have trained the strikers to "beat offside trap" and "play one-twos" and both wingers to "get into opposition area" All the front three have great pace, accelerations and decisions. Anybody that is able to test, I would appreciate your feedback. I am working on a "best traits" list for the tactic to help get the best out of them. I generally start saves with sub-top or relegation threatened teams and try to turn them into league and European champions over a few seasons. I'm looking for a tactic that will improve with my squad as I strengthen it and that is as close to plug and play as possible. I just want to have a bit of fun tbh. I am also using the latest update I'd appreciate any help as well as any hints and tips to get the most out of any tactic I may end up using. If you sort the total test column the 2 top tactics are 451 and 4231 IMO 3 at back do not work as well as other formations but if you wanted a 3 at back formation sort google docs by formation. 343 is probably the most current 3 at back. Top covers say top 5 Clubs in Division Mid the next 7 and then under dog. Just use totals as an all round tactic. Use best top at home and best underdog away or difficult games. You can mix and match with your preferred formations. It is just a guide to help identify right tactic. AWAY GAMES SUS With regard to Away games it depends upon your own risk factor. I am gung ho and prefer to attack and perhaps win 1 game in 3. If isk adverse then use a defensive tactic and perhaps draw all 3 games. As a defensive formation I would use 4141 as it has a DM and protects wings, and KINGSTONIAN 4141 would be my choice. I use 3 DLs std higher much higher. If AI are going for balls over top then std but if AI attacking you can leave at higher ormuch higher. The LOE can be adjusted with or without DL adjustments. The simple answer is just drop LOE.. I use Cautious positive and attacking mentalities. For a SUS these are ideas to use. Change for a few games? are any of your players unhappy? i've noticed that if i play any unhappy players in my team away from home it always goes balls up. figured it out last night as i usually have 22 really good players and have to rotate them to keep them happy, occasionally they get unhappy so i'll obviously try to play them more. i tested it loads and i've definitely noticed you can get away with playing them in home games but away? no chance. may not even be related to your problem but just thought i'd throw it out there incase it helps anyone else!
