Hello Knap.

First of all I have been a huge fan for several years, always with great tactics.
I usually use the 4231 tactics, and this year I have achieved good results with TIME 4231 C (mainly with versions 21.4 and less with 21.5).
I recently switched to the LVercetti version (PARIS 4231 IF P103) also with good results, but the left IF tends not to have good performances. I have tested with several players in different teams (Depay, Cherki, Diogo Jota, Rafael Leão) and always have worse ratings than the right IF. Any reason for that to happen?

I'm thinking about going back to TIME 4231 C versions. Could you test it in the future?

hey @knap i've had great success with this tactic on fm20, any chance you could tweak it to fit the fm21 match engine, i haven't had much success with the 4-2-3-1 formations on the google docs.

I use Time 4231, the one with 1 IF and 1 IW, it’s class, I got sancho one side and Demir the other. Dynamite

try left IF on support and hold position. The right IF has support with the wing-back and mezzala, this also creates space for him...the left IF may be struggling because if him leaving his position too often (attack duty) and the DLP will hardly go forward to support him, he will only cover him...IF are very attacking roles but without the attacking support, they could be isolated

TEST RESULTS

You can use results in a few ways.

Top covers say top 5 Clubs in Division Mid the next 7 and then under dog.

Just use totals as an all round tactic.

Use best top at home and best underdog away or difficult games.

You can mix and match with your preferred formations.

It is just a guide to help identify right tactic.

AWAY GAMES SUS

With regard to Away games it depends upon your own risk factor. I am gung ho and prefer to attack and perhaps win 1 game in 3. If isk adverse then use a defensive tactic and perhaps draw all 3 games.

As a defensive formation I would use 4141 as it has a DM and protects wings, and KINGSTONIAN 4141 would be my choice.

I use 3 DLs std higher much higher. If AI are going for balls over top then std but if AI attacking you can leave at higher ormuch higher. 

The LOE can be adjusted with or without DL adjustments. The simple answer is just drop LOE..

I use Cautious positive and attacking mentalities.

For a SUS these are ideas to use.

Use 4141 formation

Remove pass into space

Stop WB runs by go

ing to defend or no nonsense FB

Use Defend on DM or most defensive MC

Change mentality Positive/cautious

Add Time wasting

Change from counter press and counter and full SUS would be to regroup and hold shape

I tend to judge what to use by how the game is progressing as you may just to want to control game rather than a full SU

SHOUTS FROM CADON

Calm Down (win by 1 goal diff) -

Praise (win by 2 goal diff) -

Berate (loss by 2 goal diff) -

Demand More (loss by 1 goal diff or draw)

There is little difference between 21.4 and 21.5. The top tested tactic I made on 21.4.

433 is not working as well as other formations but this 433 I made on 21.5

Could try training them with the dribble more, play one twos or beat offside trap. 

Or change them to IWs see if it balances out.
