The top tactics were tested 5 or 6 times so a good 500 games. It was indeed.Just finished the season, team got riddled with injuries in one period but Liverpool bottled it right at the end. David Ball did fine as a striker until january then played mostly at AMC (and stopped scoring goals) after Gary Hooper was sold, with youngster Ben Waine in at STC. I've sorted column to show highest points with Lpool Beowulf 442 is also in top 6 underdog tactics so a wide span of levels. sibelius Posted March 2, 2020 Share Posted March 2, 2020 Greetings Knap (and RDF), Your tequila sunrise and black echo tactics (with or even without RDF's tweaks) are legit game breakers for underdog teams. I've tried most of the tactics -- beowulf, argus, venom&faith, and even sicilian -- all the way since January, and they're great. But for a SV Meppen (Div 3) to beat a Bundesliga team (and outshoot them), it's not gonna happen. With Tequila and Echo, it will. Sorry I dont have screenshots -- but let's just say they are very similar to RDF's success with West Ham. What sets apart those 2 tactics, i think, is the super low tempo. It somehow messes up the match engine a lil, slows down the game (and the opponents'), and gives the underdog team with a counterpunch and high-line approach to kill. Anywayz, you're constantly testing new tactics with diff formations, but they're all with the usual DNA -- "much higher tempo". Is it possible to work on other formations (not 4132 like Tequila and Echo) using the "super low tempo" DNA, or whatever it was that made Tequila and Echo? Thanks for all ur work, by the way. DavyDepuydt1 Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) Almost all of your tactics give me good results, but finding a tactic that doesn't make you lose from liverpool AWAY in first season is very rare to find... just re-instant-resulted a game with real madrid away at liverpool, CL season 1 about 20 times with so many tactics almost all of them lost, and very few gave me a draw. (not only knap's but others as well).
