Adverts on ingame hoardings and the EULA

Hi all, first post an all.

I've been following the boards for a while ever since i found out they were putting 3D game engine in as that's the reason i've always just played Fifa/Total Club Manager.

I've never played FM and can't try the demo till the patch comes out, but it occurred to me while reading through this thread....

The data collection is put in place to give you a variety of ad boards that you can click on while watching the 3D match if you felt the need advertising up to date products etc....correct?

Now i can only guess this bit but the advertisements are only in the 3D match engine and not viewable anywhere else in the game? If the answer to this one is yes then does that mean that the data collection is switched off for those that only play in 2D or text views as the collected data is useless?

Just a thought.
