[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

Brighton in the Champions League!

Was Hanger plagued by injuries a lot (doesn't look like it with the number of games he played)? Seems way too early, especially for a defender. :(

Brighton are doing quite well nowadays!

Amazing that he gave up at 32, after playing 37 games the season before.

No major injuries, the only thing I can think of is the fact that (YP29d) came in and immediately took his place in the team and so he decided to retire.

Indeed they have, if I recall, they're the team of Southampton Uni?

Some university team done similar in one of my saves, and the surprise was they were able to attract a surprising quality of player.

I'm confident that you will survive in League 2.

That is an impressive feat by Team Solent. I see they finished as high up as 12th at one point!

Just caught up. Apart from L1 this looks good, with the experiance from Asia in hand

Hopefully we have a couple seasons solidifying our place in League 2 and get a better quality of player to keep coming through before our next promotion.

Lewis Holly-Tully proving his penalty worth as he scores three penalties, including two in the 95th minute, one of which was a game winner! We're through to face Cowfold in the FA Cup Second Round and we face Crystal Palace Under 23's in the Second Round of the Checkatrade Trophy.

A terrible month in the league and we drop down to 9th, Mansfield have gone from 22nd to 6th in the space of just 9 games! In the FA Cup we'll be facing Kidderminster Harriers in the 3rd Round whilst we face Chelsea Under 23's in the 3rd Round of the Checkatrade Trophy.

A poor month in the league as we're now six points outside the playoff zone but we've made up for it in the cups with us making it to the semi final of the Checkatrade Trophy where we'll face Forest Green Rovers and we've made it to the 4th Round of the FA Cup but we'll be away to Championship side Crewe Alexandra. :(

What a busy month! We lost out to Forest Green Rovers in the Semi Final of the Checkatrade Trophy and we've been indifferent in the league but in the FA Cup we've beaten Crewe and Leeds United to set up an FA Cup Quarter Final appearance against either Sheffield Wednesday or Southampton!

Solid season as newly relegated, which is always tricky. Considering how last season went, perhaps not going back up right away is for the best. ;)

If you did not have that terrible wobble during the cup run, the play offs would have been yours, if not automatic promotion.

Yea we went through a run of no wins in eight as well as one win from seven which really hurt our total, I don't mind staying in League Two though, I don't want us to be too much of a yo-yo club as we clearly aren't ready to make the step up!

Now we have to get our reputation up so we won't be predicted 24th in the league any more! :D

Shame you couldn't bounce back up. Maybe the great Makoto is mortal after all.

I am most definitely mortal ;) It would've been nice to go back up, but I firmly believe that we're nowhere near ready for it.

A slight blip in the league but we're still in the automatic promotion spots as we hit the new year, we're out of the Checkatrade Trophy after an expected loss but we're through to the FA Cup 3rd Round where we're at home to Championship side Watford.

Another very good month in the league only really slipping up too MK Dons, we even beat Watford in the FA Cup! We've not been rewarded with a massive payday though as next we're away to Championship side Swansea and the winner of that faces another Championship side in Sunderland.

Mixed in the league but beating Cowfold leaves us just one point behind them with ten games remaining! Our FA Cup run continues as we now face Sunderland at home in the Fifth Round....winner is away to AGAIN Championship side Sheffield United in the Quarter Final.
