Looks like we were streets ahead, but the real difference is in direct games we beat Celtic every time. Had some of them gone the other way, and they easily could have, the whole story could have been different. It's not all late winners with us, that Hibs loss was to a 92nd minute goal in which our defence fell apart. After the game that sealed the title, the draw with Aberdeen, this happened... Our star fullback(formerly DM), comes out. Nice. Goal was a bit funny, Zuparic just makes a b-line for their goal and the defence kind of have no idea what to do. If you have clever, quick players, they should pick the ball off before needing to challenge big lumpy strikers. With that, we dived into the European campaign on fire... Dismantling some good European sides, "hey, maybe we could put on a decent fight in our group?" "RNGeebus says no." On to the transfer market! I was shocked, I expected more of a fight for my players, Zuparic was bid on by Fiorentina, and when rejected asked why we wouldn't let him discuss terms, I replied "we want to keep you", with which he was delighted and signed a new deal on 4.5k a week. Baffling. Bayern, Inter, Man Utd all want Cheliotis, but there was no chance of that happening. Two teams wanted our keeper Dawson, but despite being valued at 8.5m, none would bid more than 2m... There's the door, use it, unless you'd prefer the window... Oddly, zero clubs whatsoever showed any interest in Zdunek, who's practially on the edge of world class. I mean, I can't imagine many sides in Europe he couldn't fight for a place in. We spent the most, but as you can see, we made one very big sale, so a bit of largesse was no harm. Celtic didn't do much, picked up a ruined Pedro on a free, and on one great deal loaned a brilliant player off Arsenal, but are paying loads for his services. Celtic are still reckoned the best team, and odds on to win the league, dominating the dream 11. Oddly, the only player of theirs I'd be interested in is Tierney. Rest wouldn't get in my starting 11. Speaking of, he was gone this summer, half of Europe wanted him with PSG first in line, then he broke his leg. Only one notable deal there, the loss of star CB Barbakadze, I kind of expected him to go, though, so already had a replacement sorted. I won't bother showing the endless loans. Plenty brought in, but I guess not much by my recent standards. The biggest deals are the free agents though. Ferran was actually a bit better when we signed him, but you can see he's had a bad month in training, will recover and be a star eventually. Biagioni was brought in as I expected to lose Dawson, but that never happened, and we have too many high quality keepers now, tried loaning some out but no good. Papadopoulos was unhappy at his club, so picked up at a snip for his quality. Oddly, was only accomplished at CM when he joined but not even half way through pre-season he became completely natural. Will be a monster defensive box to box, but could cover a multitude of CM and DM roles if necessary. Kempshall was Forest's brightest prospect, and labelled "the next Nobby Stiles" Yespleasethankyouverymuch! Tuanzebe is a bit underdeveloped, and I wish I had a tutor for him, but is a player I rate a great deal. Lobo, we didn't really need, but he's going to be amazing. Sludden was rated a lot higher when I arranged the deal, but has the look of someone that'll play above his CA even if he doesn't turn out great, the other two, some no risk deals on a pair with star potential.
