Maccie
Does anyone else suffer from extreme anger management issues when playing FM? I'm quite a placid person "off the touchline" but I've done some crazy things when things have taken a turn for the worse on FM...
peter-evo
I get frustrated and often squeeze my face but I've never got that angry. Got a few scratch marks though
george94
You squeeze your face? That can't be healthy. And yes I have got angry in the past and my speaker bared the brunt of the anger and snapped in two.
peter-evo
I squeeze my cheeks really hard yeah. Otherwise I would punch something, I once punched my monitor and the part where I hit remained black

peter-evo
, it's just one of those things I do, try managing Basingstoke mate, your face will end up a different shape. My face is better than my mouse or monitor
aenariel
I have serious anger issues whenever I play FM. In fact I'm much calmer since I've stopped playing 08 a few weeks ago.

My face is better than my mouse or monitor In my case my monitor often suffers a lot more than my body. AND I've ruined a mouse playing, but that was years ago heheh. Arsenal_Fan_1986
I don't mind losing if I play badly. But I took over Fulham in my last game, was beating man utd 3-1 in the 80th min, drew 3-3! Always happens against big teams, I think im getting a result and then bang! GRRRR!
COME ON U SPURS
my mate was playing once and was 1-0 up 89 mins and ended up losing 1-2 in normal time he said " that he stood up walked over the other side of the room taking deep breathes debating whether to do it or not and he then turn round and punched his laptop screen breaking it, he recently done the same to another laptop by slamming his fist on the keyboard and says to me he is looking to buy a new laptop for the release of fm 09. Soulie
as this is a family site, I won't disclose how I deal with my anger but yes, I am very laid back, even when I go and watch Stockport play, I am still laid back, even if the Ref has just made a blatent error, but as soon as it happens to my team on fm, you don't wanna be near me

Tejaswi
hmm, the worst I did was hit my UPS while trying to kick the wall. FM is actually a pretty good test of how much anger your body can take though
Kertiz
I used to get much more angry. I've found the last two much easier and therefore I've had much less to get angry about. Plus, I've matured and realised "its just a game." Albeit a game that I am passionate about!

robilaz
Before FM, nee Champ Man, I was a mild mannered, gentle, lovely young gent. Now I'm an ignorant, foul mouthed, hoodie wearing, overweight, lager lapping lout. Messrs Collyer and Jacobsen and co are to blame. The addictiveness of these games makes me exceedingly angry. At Uni my housemates became accustomed to prolonged burst of profanities all hours of day and night. And it hasn't really stopped. I love it. Anger is all part of the Champ Man experience. redlion1986
I generally just hit the arms of my chair and swear at the monitor (like that does any good!)
sm1979
The squeezing of the face really has me ROFLMAO!! I suppose i'm not too much better tbh. I never tend to get too angry in all honesty in life in general, but as soon as FM goes wrong my head malfunctions. I have been known to really punch my thighs or knees really hard. Made me feel better short term, but the bruising tends to just be wearing off then I go do the same frickin' thing again!
