vasilli07 Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 At the moment, looking at the PIs and the way both roles play, it doesn't really make any difference which role you choose. A complete wingback should be more than a attacking winger in a defensive position. He should be a combo player on the wing as the role name suggest. PIs like run wide with ball, cross more often, cross from byline and stay wider should be all be removed. I will add in move into channels(like Raumdeuter) to enable him to move more freely. He should be able to make his own decision on whether to cross or cut inside, stay wide or sit narrower. A wingback(att) should assume the current role of the complete wingback.
