Wayne Rooney is one of six players reportedly set to be rested by England boss Roy Hodgson for their final group game against Slovakia on Monday.

Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are also expected to be named on the bench.

Daniel Sturridge, Jamie Vardy, Jordan Henderson, Jack Wilshere, Nathaniel Clyne and Ryan Bertrand are in line to start as England aim to top Group B.

Slovakia could be unchanged following their win over Russia.

But they have six players on yellow cards, including Martin Skrtel, and another booking would see them banned from a potential last-16 match.

Wales' Joe Ledley was substituted in the second half of their defeat by England after suffering from a tight calf, but he has declared himself fit.

As a result, Chris Coleman is expected to pick the same XI that started the England match.

Victory would secure Wales' spot in the knockout phase, in their first major international tournament since 1958.

Russia's Oleg Shatov is struggling with a groin problem and is doubtful to feature in Toulouse.

With Russia having underperformed thus far, coach Leonid ****sky may be tempted to make wholesale changes.

"Whilst everybody will look at this game as the be all and end all, whether we progress or not, it's not the end of the journey for this team," Coleman said.

"Our players have done unbelievably well. It's been an eye-opener and hard, of course. It's really intense but it's been enjoyable."

It's better as a double so you can keep up to date with both games going on as most people won't be watching both at the same time.

Anyway the 6 changes are confirmed for England.

Hart: Clyne, Cahill, Smalling, Bertrand; Wilshere, Dier, Henderson; Lallana, Sturridge, Vardy

Did Pulis just say the extra striker will allow Bale to find space inside the pitch and outside the pitch?

Oh.. well that makes sense.

Just in case you didn't get what he meant I'm presuming channel 3 in Wales will be showing Wales/Russia.

If anything, if this news getting through to Slovakia should get them a touch more urgent

Dont know if Slovakia will care that much between 2nd and 3rd. I know 3rd is probably Germany, but is it worth chasing a win just so they can finish 2nd?
